– Replaced all player body animations (Existing character models retained for demo compatibility)

– Replaced all world model weapon animation

– Updated shared player skeleton

– Re-rigged all player model geometry and player scaffold animation

– Updated animation networking to continually synchronize animation state instead of periodically latching

– Player animation sequence selection is now server-initiated

– Added new player states including bomb defusal and ladder climb poses

– Added thirdperson weapon deploy animations to more accurately represent viewmodel deploy state

– Extended all vertical aim matrix ranges to encompass the majority of vertical aim pitch so weapons line up precisely to firing angle

– Added reverse-bone-merge animation support so weapon models can store and play independent animation on the player holding them

– Added support for arbitrary numbers of articulated mechanical parts on world weapon models

– Updated weapon world model articulation points, bodygroup presets, holster positions and reverse-bone-merge skeletons

– Added physics motion to holstered attachment weapon locations

– Added support for non-polygonal capsule-shaped hit volumes, defined by a line segment and radius

– Replaced shared hitboxes with new capsule-based set

– Rebuilt player ragdoll angular constraints, physics hulls, and interaction pairs

– Ragdolls now assume more exact pose of their parent player on physics init

– Re-built animation statemachine to support blending locomotion over any weapon aim or action poses

– Enabled support for dynamic player animation layer re-ordering

– Sequence blendlayers now correctly contribute to computed cyclerate

– Added defuser cables and multimeter model

– Added hlmv support for capsule rendering, submodel attachment previewing, ragdoll constraint limit and bone name rendering, plus numerous small fixes

Honestly, the M4A1-S did need a nerf. It was way better than the M4A4. But I can see Valve reverting at least one of the changes. The nerf hit it way too hard.

Ironically, they intended to nerf the armor penetration but failed to do so.

If it had worked, the gun would be awful.

Right now it's good for ranged bursts but not full sprays.

So many changes, and the only that hasn't change is a guaranteed loss when 4/5 of my fucking team mates are all awp whoring 16 year olds with microphones. I'm glad to see valve has become increasingly efficient at patching the wrong things, and adding unnecessary bullshit NOBODY cares about, often making the game worse than it once was (See DOTA:Reborn if you want a great example of this, I expect a CS:GO:Reborn in the month, complete with new ranking systems and a customization rank and hacks overlay to make fucking with matchmaking all that much easier). I just hope they add a 'Bail out of this 60 minutes of boredom and inevitable loss' button that doesn't devastate your MMR and ban you from comp for a week, you know, since they're already making things so easy for hackers and smurfs.

I'm pissed at Valve. Fuck valve, THIS is why I don't buy crates anymore. Its okay to have an easy 4 guns to be OBJECTIVELY INFERIOR and fill NO ROLE, an entire 50% of the guns in the game fitted to CoD players, and a AWP so nerfed its barely usable in T side, but GOD FORBID theres no FUCKING UMBILICAL CORD going to the bomb baby when you're aborting it. Remember the fucking water tank? Valve knows they're useless pricks, and they're mocking us. What worthless rubbish. Giving CS over to valve to 'develope' was the worst idea imaginable, I would rather have blizz graphics, WoW boss animations, and a flavour of the month gun, than a game dev who doesn't give a shit about anything not involving funny hats.

The shadow crate is disappointing, the dual pistols are nice and the p250 is okay, the m4a1s is passable, but everything else is bland or looks like something only a 12 year old would buy. The ak47 is literal eye rape and WOW BLUE, the auto is barely changed, and the galil and mag-7 are WOW BLUE. If I get into a game with these horrid weapon skins, I'm likely to just kill myself. Thanks for the blue skins valve, and the Gmod tier animations.
