Wanna know why? Because YOU didn't do good against DMGs and LE's, your friend did, YOU just followed blindly and got some easy kills against a group of LEs and DMGs who had already given up the game for lost and decided to fuck around.

I didn't even realize he had 47 kills jesus christ. I'm top fragging in MM at my own level unless I'm having a bad day, which if I am i only play one game. I just can't seem to rank up again just like in SEM where I was in the same position essentially. I'm at least on par with my MGE - DMG friends but am stuck middle fragging in those games, and I've yet to see my rank go back to MGII

No you're not, if you were, then you'd be DMG or MGE. You're doing something wrong that is causing you to lose games, also, frags aren't everything. Read my post about kill hunting a couple threads below this. Seriously though, don't worry about ranks, the system isn't there to 'beat' its there to give you the most enjoyable games against equally skilled players, and let you track your progress, so let it do it's thing, and keep playing, you'll rank up eventually.

MVP stars are most helpful for leveling up. If your team mate gets 11 MVP stars and you get 1, you won't really climb through the ranks.
