I can't think of a single benefit you would gain from it.

You only stand to lose your recoil advantage.

Also for some reason it turns the thing into a headshot machine at closer distances. I got 3 headshots in a single spraydown when 3 T's pushed banana.

I just looked at the stats. Here's what taking off the silencer does:

>Increases bullet spread, matching the A4

>Decreases InaccuracyMove, making it lower than both the A4 and the still-silenced A1 – this is likely where you are seeing your "headshot machine" because you can shoot better while moving

>Increases InaccuracyFire, making it higher than both the A4 and the still-silenced A1. Clearly meant to be a trade-off for the benefit of the InaccuracyMove advantage

>Increases the RecoilMagnitudeVariance to 3, which is really odd because the A4, the silenced A1, and even the AK all have these at 0.

makes ur gun shorter so you can hold cheeky corners (ie. mid bench on inferno, right corner on overpass) without the enemy seeing ur silencer
