i used to play on the newbsurf server and beat surf_beginner over and over to get a really high rank. then they turned it into a skillsurf with tier4+ maps but i got to keep my rank and now everyone thinks im l33t and laughs at my jokes

Yeah same, the server I used to play on was tier 1 and 2 maps and I could only beat a couple of them. I would do it frequently so I was like top 50 on the server, Then the server disappeared so now I'm forced to play hard maps and people think I'm actually good but I'd just play surf_beginner a lot :(

Betting advice thread

- always look at hltv before the match and see which team is better on the map. usually matches come down to who is better on the map they will play on. some teams are REALLY good on certain maps, like navi on train.

- 1 map series gives underdogs better odds. 3 map series is almost impossible for the underdog

- only bet on underdogs with less than 30% if you have a lot of garbage in your inventory.

- don't waste time/skins/money on heavily tilted payouts (80% or higher), because the loss of an upset is excruciating

- don't bet on a team with a stand-in, unless it's pyth

- don't bet on mousesports, ever

- frenchmen are fickle

- most of the time csgolounge is right and the higher percentage team will win.

Deathmatch doesnt do fuck if you already know basics of shooting and aiming. Just play more competitive and focus on positioning. Low golds and silvers dont even know how to take cover properly or choose good CT spots to look at.
