One way I heard it put was if you had a community of supposedly "straight" males who posted pictures of and admired women, but a significant majority of the women were on testosterone and/or masculine, to the point where they couldn't be distinguished from men were it not for the genitals. This dude, man. He started out relatively slowly, two stories a week with a complete analysis of each. False security. Then, it's an essay a week on each story. Then for two weeks it's a complete analysis of Hamlet, each and every line, and a midterm the day after that's done that's an essay on how some random theme in Hamlet connects to some random theme in one of the other stories, a full essay in an hour. Now we're doing an 8 page research paper due in like 2 or 3 weeks, and on top of that at the same time we're analyzing another play, and on top of that at the same time we're doing another short story each and every time class meets.

I don't know if I sound whiny, or if this is legitimately alot, but I feel like it's a bit much for what is essentially English 102 at a community college. He'll take major points off your essays if they aren't done the very specific way he wants them, too.
