That's me in the pic, before I address comments about me being an "attention whore" I'd like to genuinely thank OP for this. When he asked if he could put a pic of me on here, I was sort of skeptical as to what his intentions were, but I see now he deeply cares about me and my well-being. For that I love you and I'm sorry that I have to live so far away. You mean a lot more to me than I probably give the impression of when we talk. ♡

Now on to the allegations of attention-whoring and whatnot. I'll spare you my life story, but I've been picked on for my looks ever since I can remember. Whether it was my glasses or awkward frame I really came to hate my face and body. I know other people like it, but I struggle with seeing exactly why. I like to post pics and do cute things because it makes people happy, that in itself makes me feel good. Compliments usually warrant a negative reaction from me since I'm extremely negative about myself. I usually just pass them off as remarks made out of pity.

I know that my behavior and thoughts are dumb and, from anyone else's perspective , irrational, but I feel trapped in this mindset. But I deeply appreciate this thread and everyone in it for their input. Especially
