Alright, how in the everloving

FUCK

does /cuteboys/ shave their legs to look so perfect? Jesus fucking Christ, I have tried and tried and tried again and again to do it and it always looks like pic related. It ends up looking awful AND I lose a shitton of blood, definitely more than hair, in the process.

I need tips, products, guides, anything. I'm desperate.

 No.228929

What are you shaving with Anon?

 No.228930

>>228929

A razor.

 No.228932

>>228930

Okay but are you using shaving cream? Foam? Gel? Soap?

What kind of razor?

It pays to be specific.

Uh… Nope.

R-razor…

I only recently decided "fuck it, I'm gonna' shave my legs" and have never used shaving cream.

 No.228936

>>228934

There's your problem! You don't need super fancy high brand shit, just anything to make things smoother even if it's shower gel or something.

Every time I've done it, I've done it in the shower. I kinda gave up trying the whole cuteboy thing a while ago though so I stopped shaving my legs.

But yeah, like in many situations, lubrication is key.

>I only recently decided "fuck it, I'm gonna' shave my legs" and have never used shaving cream.

That's silly anon. They make that stuff for a reason, it's not an optional extra like aftershave. Get some real shaving cream/foam, it's like a few dollars a bottle.

 No.229024

>>228926

How did you manage to fuck it up that horribly? That's impressive, really.

 No.229028

>He dry shaved

It's like trying to shave with sandpaper, shit will tear your skin up. Use soapy water or shower gel as lubricant. Shave with the grain, the direction of hair growth, and then shave against the grain. Throw away blunt razors, the razor should glide over your skin painlessly if you do everything right.

you literally shaved both your entire legs WITHOUT foam? what the fuck, how did you not realize at any point that something was wrong? Shit takes hours

You should have used an electric trimmer (you don't need to buy fancy feminine beauty ones, beard trimmers get the same thing done) and then used shaving cream to shave your legs with a razor.

Down the grain (direction your hair points naturally) once, then up the grain once.

 No.230812

just post more feet Anon and everything will be okay I promise :3

 No.230818

posting in favor of epillators over shaving. much smoother for longer, and the pain is more enjoyable than not. :p

 No.230861

Okay so since OP is retarded I have a legit question.

When I shave I keep getting ingrown hairs. Even when I exfoliate. Digging them out has given me a lot of scars and it's annoying as hell. I want no more ingrown hairs, how do I prevent them?

 No.230866

>>230861

Use an epilator.

Shit hurts, but you never have to worry about ingrown hairs.

Alternatively, I've heard that using baby oil to soften up your skin before and after shaving is also supposed to work, but I can't vouch for that.

 No.230871

>>230861

are you black?

File: 1450044799757.png (187.73 KB, 328x312, 41:39, 1449076412703.png)

OP how can you be this dense?

seriously I think every man knows they need some sort of lubricant to shave successfully without getting torn to shreds due to the friction.

If you are too much of an idiot to use a razor get one of those foam hair removers that smell like shit

 No.230894

>>230871

No

>>230866

It gives me red marks instead doing that

 No.230907

>>230894

The red marks are normal. You're pulling hairs out by their roots. Put some thin, oil-free lotion over the marks, and they'll go away faster.

 No.230922

Not OP, but I recently managed to shave my entire legs without any lubricant and didn't have any problems, and didn't even have any pain at all. I think it might have helped that it was a safety razor, but maybe I just have skin of steel.

 No.230944

>>229060

real talk

why are you always posting black people????

 No.230948

>>228934

You can disregard the requirement of shaving cream, tbh. Soap is good enough. Make sure your skin is slippery with soap before shaving.

The point of shaving cream/soap is to reduce friction between your skin and the blade so it doesn't catch on your skin and fuck you up.

 No.230950

>>229132

I use a safety razor and it works great with no foam.

 No.230969

>>230866

I still get loads of in-growns epilating too. Same problem with cream. Nothing seems to work for me. It's either hairy legs forever, or being covered in more scars and spots forever. Should I just give up now?

 No.231002

>>230969

If you get ingrown hairs from epilating, you might just be fucked for all eternity.

I'll cry for you.

 No.231039

>>230969

do you exfoliate? how badly in-grown are they? like, are they pointing downward toward the muscle? or are they just running parallel under the skin? if it's the latter, exfoliating will help a lot. get a loofah, take proper care of it, and clean it often.

>>230969

>>231002

Fuck, I get the same problem too.

I spent two of the most painful hours of my life doing my legs with this fucking thing and the next morning, ingrowns everywhere.

Pretty much considering laser treatment now, which upon closer investigation seems pretty affordable for what I want…

 No.231053

>trying to be cute with those feet

Just give it up.

 No.231102

>>231053

>tfw I have similar feet

They got a little cuter after caring after them a little, and gaining a little weight and letting my nails grow a little longer.

There's always a way, oh cynic brit. Even if the way must be filled with colorful, striped socks.

 No.233498

electric trimmers never work to shave my entire legs tbh, i usually do it with an electric one and then shave the little leftover points off with a regular razor
