>Meet people with the same hobby
>None of them have other similar interests
>Realize that you don't have to spend time with these people because hobbies can be pursued alone
>Remember hobbies are widespread and try again with other people or even join groups on the internet for it
>Keep doing the hobby regardless because the entire point is you invest time in something you enjoy
Stop being such a Cynical Cindy. Even if you meet up with everyone with that hobby within miles and miles, you can still resort to the internet or use it as a point when dating normies – as long as it isn't autistic shit like trainspotting or stamp collecting, most people like the idea of a partner who will fuck off occasionally so they can have their space.
Also can't help but notice you said nothing of the treadmill. Like most mentally fucked people, I can confirm exercising until you're exhausted helps a whole bunch when you've got gripes or lots of emotions to deal with, plus it makes you look less awful which helps you meet new people.
TL;DR – I stand by what I said. Get fucking interesting and/or attractive and people will tend to like you more. Wasting a few hundred bucks over months and trying is better than blowing it on one weird night that ends in awkward sex.
