Less test means your receptors are free to tak more estrogen. That's why you cant just take estrogen. Your receptors can only take so many hormones. So you generally take a test inhibitor to encourage estrogen

Ok, actual tranny here.
It's pretty damn reversible. Spiro will let your nipples get kinda puffy, but there won't be any significant breast growth without estrogen supplements. If you stop taking spiro, your body will naturally become more masculine over time due to naturally produced testosterone again. You may be infertile for good though.
It is a bad idea to take only anti-androgens though, especially with no intention to continue with HRT. Your body needs sex hormones, either of them, and you can actually do irreversible damage to your reproductive system, and glands over time. Commit or don't, essentially. Spiro is NOT a "make me androgynous" pill. It's a stopgap for medical transition, nothing more.

Start out with 100mg spiro/day for two weeks. Then 200mg a day for another two weeks. Then add 2 mg of E a day for two weeks. Then up to four on your seventh week. So Spiro can't be taken as a way to preserve one's youthful/relatively more feminine appearance, because using it by itself will cause serious harm. Therefore I'm left with two options:
>Don't use Spiro, youthful appearance lost
>Use Spiro and be forced to also take estrogen, causing permanent and irreversible changes, turning me into >>238569 who will severely regret his decision in as little as 10 years, when his looks fade and realizes that current technology had by no means the ability to turn him into what he wanted.

Spiro isn't an anti-aging drug. It's an androgen blocker. It doesn't make you look younger, it makes you look less manly. You'll still age, just androgynously.
And I'v eheard mixed stories on Spiro. Doctors generally say your body needs a sex hormone, any sex hormone, to function properly, but I've heard stories of people on here taking spiro for long periods of time with no backlash, so maybe its your prerogative to roll the nice. That's your decision.
In addition, if you want to actively reverse the effects of testosterone and look more feminine, Spiro won't do it. MtF teens, like 16 and under, will usually get on spiro only to start because T hasn't done much to their body yet. Imagine it like a race, Testosterone vs. Estrogen racing to sexualize your body. Since you're male, Tesosterone is stronger and is winning. Spiro will put some cinderblocks on Testosterone's legs, but you'll need Estrogen if you want femininity to catch up with masculinity.
And finally, are you trans? If you hate the idea of having a male body, you probably at elast have some mild dysphoria. If you're 22 or younger, I say go to a therapist and talk about it. Not saying you should transition, (Contrary to popular belief, I don't think every person with dysphoria should transition), but it's worth looking into.
No.238674

Anti-aging is synonymous with remaining youthful-looking. Androgynous is youthful.
No.238686
>>238674
Not true at all. Androgynous means possessing features of both male and female appearance, usually to the point where it is difficult to tell the real gender. Androgyny *can* look youthful, but you can be old-looking and androgynous too. What it would do is prevent you from aging like most men do, and you wouldn't pick up the physicl characteristics of older men, but you'd still age.
But it does tend to make guys look younger. I'm not denying that. But it isn't magic.

lol. nah. hormones don't work that way. They help, they help a lot, but you gotta put in work too. Make-up, wardrobe, voice, mannerisms… all things hormones don't change. That's on you.

You mean the one that's already been derailed? It started as OP asking for ways to reverse the affects of Spiro. Now there are people discussing forms of hormones to use in "transitioning".

No, what you care about is keeping trans stuff off this board because you don't like loosely related topics for some reason even though they have nowhere else to go. You're just using my deletion of what was blatantly someone shitposting to make it seem like I'm some sort of SJW dictator.
