It really wasn't good. Every scene felt like someone saying "Hey, remember this?" The entire thing felt like it was designed by a committee. Scenes moved too fast, you don't have time to appreciate the scenery like the other films but the digital set pieces look terrible anyway so who the hell cares. A lot of weird angles are used and quite frankly they don't work. The film itself processed way too quickly.
Kylo was a decent "unstoppable force" type villain before he took off the mask.
Snoke is a terrible name for a bad guy.
I actually rolled my eyes at the Starkiller Base reveal. Oh, another Death Star. Wew. I wonder where the weak point on this one is.
Rey was okay. She didn't get enough character development. The scenes with her being super force-compotent felt like a bigger asspull than normal.
Finn was awesome and the best character by far.
I usually get very excited about movies and this one just felt lukewarm.
