Is this great or what?

Seems like a thing /cyber/ will enjoy.

 No.23816

I'm not sure how cyberpunk it is, but it's retro 80's bullshit with synth music so good enough for me.

It's pretty great, especially for something crowd funded. And it's awesome that they released it for free. It's things like this that make me want to habeeb that crowd funding is the stirrings of some radical changes in capitalism that will lead up to its downfall, but then again it's still pretty rare for crowd funded campaigns to end up anything more than the people taking the brouzouf and running with it. Star Citizen will be the defining crowd funded project, mark my words; if it ends up being shit, people will become incredibly cynical about crowd funding and it will probably die off, but otherwise it will probably become a lot more common.

But anyways, what was the budget for this?

>But anyways, what was the budget for this?

Turns out it was about $600,000. That's pretty good for a movie like this. Making movies that aren't found footage horror shit tends to be pretty expensive.

>I'm not sure how cyberpunk it is

I motherfucking stand corrected:

>"With the right computer algorithms, I can hack you back in time"

>"Well then, it's hacking time"

>pulls out a fucking Powerglove

/cyber/ as fuarrk.

 No.23820

hot fucking damn I am behind this a million percent

 No.23828

Don't forget the great song that came from this movie.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTidn2dBYbY

Been addicted to this song for a week or so.

 No.23832

>>23828

Love the tune, it's a shame the lyrics are gibberish

not bad. somehow reminds me of regular show.

 No.23835

I came in skeptical thinking this was another cheap brouzouf grab on the neo 80s wave. After the first ten minutes, and the phone shooting scene, it finally clicked for me.

>LE EBIN WACKY 80's

Not my kind of movie.

 No.23946

>>23806

This is definitely one of the worst movies ever made.

 No.23949

>>23946

Isn't it wonderful?

 No.23961

Please stop shilling this everywhere you go.

 No.23990

Eh, there is a certain point where even self awareness doesn't stop a "bad movie" from being a bad movie. bad movies are enjoyable because someone actually thought it was a good idea and put the effort into making it. This just felt so fake and forced with it's "random" humor.

 No.24021

I didn't hate it, but everything it does Danger 5 does better.

 No.24027

Listening to the soundtrack as I found this place. 30 min movie of the year.

 No.24028

>>24021

or it completely copied. phone gun, nazis, dinosaurs.

fine, not nazi's, but "funny hitler".

 No.24044

>>24021

I didn't really see a reason to compare the two, but sort of saw them as existing in the same universe or related

File: 1433126524808.jpg (230.95 KB, 940x627, 940:627, foto_David_Sandberg2-e1432….jpg)

The part of me with c64's and Amigas all over the house loves pic related, but if you guys aren't tired of the nazi dinosaur thing yet, you're better goyim than I am.

Danger 5

>nazi dinosaurs

Kung Fury

>nazi dinosaurs

Iron Sky sequel

>nazi dinosaurs

 No.24060

Really bad story, but balances with visual sugar that echoes all those lost oc memes.

like surfing keyboards.

so nice to watch something without swj propaganda.

 No.24067

>>24045

fyi the dinosaur wasn't a nazi, the robot eagle was.

 No.24072

>>24060

>so nice to watch something without swj propaganda

Amazing considering it was made by Swedes.

 No.24073

>>24060

I don't feel like the story is something that can be criticized simply because they purposely weren't even trying.

 No.24081

It feels ingenuine on all levels possible. Disgusting.

 No.24135

>>23817

Source in budget? I'm not doubting, but now you've mad me curious.

 No.24136

>>24135

check the description on youtube

 No.24144

I think that it's better than Season 2.

>>24148

>implying thats a bad thing

 No.24159

>>24156

>implying that was implied

All he was saying is that that was definitely the budget it had, since it was the amount of brouzouf they got from kikestarter.

 No.24193

>>24156

I didn't imply that, pls no projection

 No.26561

It's shit but makes me really want to watch some cheesy cyberpunk '80s/'90s movies. What are some good ones? Not well known ones like tron that everybody's seen and not modern so-bad-it's-really-bad, "ironic"ally cheesy stuff.

 No.26584

>>23806

It was pretty dumb but the character was bland. I just kept thinking "how about you put that mouth tot good use Kung Fury and go down on me?"

 No.26624

>>26561

Escape from NY, even though it's not much cyberpunk I think it's pretty cheesy and has the feeling you're looking for.

 No.26625

>>26624

Also Class of 1999. It's kinda more cyber than Escape, and it's awesome as well.

Anyone has any other suggestions?

7/10 for being so over-the-top dumb fun.

The best part is when he refuses to put the phone down and instead just crushes it.
