Looking for schway cyperpunk type 8tracks/YouTube/Spotify playlists I can throw on for ambiance. Link to your own playlists or just ones you really enjoy.

I'd just look through the music thread but it has kind of become a clusterfuark of mediocre artists (not to mention its massive size makes it impossible to navigate).

Here's some internet radio stations for starters.

Heard about this on lainchan and I really like it.

Well, do guy's actually like listening to advertisements after every song, plus botnet?

But, that is true, not really contribootin'. sry, m8s.

Com Truise - Colorvision, In-Decay, and Galactic Melt seem like pretty good albums.

This seems pretty ambient to me.

https://archive.org/details/wh009

It's a bit to spoopy in

my opinion. I think it's more for lucid dreaming.

http://somafm.com/sf1033/index.html

San Francisco police FM + some ambient playlist radio.

Miami Nights 1984 - Turbulence

It's okay, more neo-80's, Hotline Miami like.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J52rN0aNfYI

Fishmans - Long Seasons

Found this while on /mu/.

Not quite /cyber/, but really good.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maUwBlJ6CiE

LazerHawk playlist:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39zKhsT5naI&list=RDEMP2NKTL3zdbUvy1h_8GzCEQ

He's okay too. Not the best, but enjoyable.

Deus Ex soundtrack werks too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yDVM77lGlM

Be sure to check out http://jinteki.industries

music section too. He has a massive selection of artists.

I just download the Youtube videos or pirate straight from kat.cr.

http://8tracks.com/metrocat2033/t-e-s-t-i-f-y - more good shit, found on tumblr initially

that's all i've got for now… i'll reply back if i find anything else

Enjoy whatever you like, but posts encouraging this sort of awareness don't encourage "nothing".

 No.28077

spotify really shouldn't be encouraged, this has nothing to do with elitism.

not literally throwing feces at citizens isn't elitism either, it's called civilization.

 No.28115

>>27996

I probably saw this on the same thread as you. Its fucking great. Vaporwave has a tendency to attract super low rate producers, but t e l e p a t h is really good.

 No.28123

>Enjoy whatever you like

Using Spotify is literally "downloading youtube videos and converting them to mp3s"-tier. It has nothing to do with enjoying anything.

 No.28298

If you want spotify, there is a /cyber/ playlist, litterly just look up /cyber/

 No.28299

Also i just want to remind people that not everyone on this board cares about "living cyberpunk" there are people who just like things from the genre such as fashion and music but dont really care about having to be paranoid about the government and other things. I for example love the music and the books, that is why i come to this board and I know there are others like me.

 No.28335

>>28299

This post is a prime example of the cancerous normie mindset that brings the quality of this board way down.

GTFO poser.

 No.28337

>>28335

It's funny, that's the way I feel about a lot of threads and posters around here yet I really don't agree with you on that one.

If there is something that set you as a poser on a cyberpunk board, it certainly isn't loving cyberpunk literature and music.

To be honest, pretty much all the tech and security talk around here is just wrong and obviously come from tech posers, so if I was you I'd rethink my definition of "poser".

To be honest, the board itself looks more and more like cancer, partly because of people like you.

Hows halfchan doing these days?

 No.28391

this got off topic fast… all the OP did was ask for music and (like 90% of the threads on this board) it's devolved into people screaming "normie," "shill," and "poser" at eachother

 No.28393

>people calling each other posers

is this becoming hipster central or something?

 No.28414

I agree with this. I mean it's okay to be like

>"not liking (x)"

>"you fucking sicken me"

Because we know you're joking. Literally being anally annihilated because someone likes a certain band/artist is just stupid.

There's a fantasy lifestyle thread but no real lifestyle thread so here goes. What aspects of your current life are cyberpunk, or what cyberpunk elements would you like to implement? Do you live in a concrete room with no windows, log in to 250PPM smog, wage slave to a big corp doing IT, rectally take Soylent for max effect?

I got a few things going on now. Started messing with drones and lasers, building my own. I guess that has a cp vibe to it, especially drones. Also designing a nootropic stack soon for when I start studies. Anyone else got a stack they want to share?

2 hours+ of good cyber sounding shit, it's easy listening though; it won't make you fall asleep.

320kbps is nothing to complain about, unless you are a jew and using the free version at 192kbps which is… borderline. As far as the botnet component, I don't really care, they can keep track of what I listen to as much as they like, if that's not your thing, fine, just don't use the service.

Speaking as someone who still uses Wangblows regularly and shits on freetards for being freetards, how can you NOT care about this?

This is relating to connecting to Facebook and other third party services, I made a false Facebook under a pseudonym for the sole purpose of Spotify, although they still know my credentials through the debit card I used. Not worried.

> >Depending on the type of device that you use to interact with the Service and your settings, we may also collect information about your location based on, for example, your phone’s GPS location or other forms of locating mobile devices (e.g., Bluetooth). I'm using it on my desktop mainly, where they'd know my IP and therefore my location either way, which I do not care about. I have an iPod that I sync songs on so it won't be able to trace me either way.

I know what I signed up for, saying that it is worse than the NSA is hyperbole at best. Would I prefer that they didn't keep track of all those things? Sure, however, the data which they do gather I do not feel to be incriminating. I am suspicious of user agreements but I am not in the business of giving into unwarranted paranoia. I do care on many levels, although I'm also aware that even if Spotify did gather information on me, it is nothing compared to the shit that other services are handing over to the NSA. I keep the things I consider private in the dark through the ways I can, but I see no reason (at this time) to keep myself off-grid completely. Thanks for the information though, even if it was more or less what I expected it to be. Perhaps I'm naïve, I guess time will tell.
