I have an idea similar to pic related.

Basically it's a discrete taser built into a glove.

> wires lead from glove to a control unit

> unit is where all the components (battery, pi zero, etc.) are so hand function is not limited

> activated by pressing using the thumb to press a combination of buttons located on the index finger

> two combos, kill and stun

I had a similar idea except I would put the contacts on the finger tips of the glove and locate the on switch in my ass.

clench my o-ring to make others go spastic.

Being tough doesn't mean shit if you can't get your head in a fight and know how to respond effectively. You can easily be fighting multiple people, whom could have weapons. This can all happen in the blink of an eye, you're walking home and you get hit across the back of the head and boxed into a wall with a bunch of guys beating into you. That's the reality.

 No.38190

>>38186

Quality, not quantity. You can do a million sit ups but if you're doing them wrong then it's all worthless. Plus working out every day doesn't give your body enough time to heal itself. You'll endure the quantity, but you can not gain a single bit of muscle.

To think up something so fucking useless you have to be either role-playing, ignorant or downright stupid…

Or a combination of those.

>Taser build into a glove

Why? It would either be awkward as fuck with conductors sticking out, or the conductors would be covered limiting their effectiveness.

>wires lead from glove to a control unit

>unit is where all the components (battery, pi zero, etc.) are so hand function is not limited

During melee combat, any weapon that isn't a whole unit is a liability.

Depending on how far you have the "control unit" from the glove itself, it gets more and more impractical because of the wires. A unit mounted on your wrist or forearm (as opposed to a belt clip mounted one) it might be usable, albeit still impractical.

>the components (battery, pi zero, etc.)

Why do you need a fucking Pi Zero for a glorified taser? A taser is magnificently simple in its function; hign voltage electricity = hurt. How on earth could a fucking computer ever do anything but unnecessarily over-complicate this?

>activated by pressing using the thumb to press a combination of buttons located on the index finger

Yeah, good luck fiddling around with buttons in a fight.

A simple taser is in nearly every way a better solution to the "I want to zapp people" problem.

Yeah nahh that's shit. When someone jumps you, are you gonna pull out your sinker rope and start spinning it at 100mph before he gets to you? The impact is going to be too small to stop someone. The fact that stopping power is a thing in caliber choice makes this pretty clear.

Apart from that janky-looking trigger mechanism as well as >>38293 , that actually looks rather workable for taking the initiative out of a surprise attack. Just make sure you have a plan/weapon to actually neutralize the fucker or get the hell out of dodge.

It's just that only the shoulder arcs has a visible arc when it's firing. Not entirely sure why it even does this.

All of the exterior is electrified; it seems that the fabric's warp is at potential with respect to the weft, or something like that. No comment on the button.

 No.38311

>>38310

>All of the exterior is electrified

Well that makes sense, as for the trigger it could work like cattle barriers do: once its "switched" it uses a small voltage and when it detects a drop in current (because something its touching it) it sends a big shock, or a constant one if you want to really fry the fucker

discovered this book in my totse days.

this book details a lot of improvised explosives, weapons, and instructions for hiding things in plain sight.

for example, carrying scissors instead of a knife is much easier to explain to the police, but can be just as effective.

don't buy off amazon/ebay, better to pirate the pdf's if you want to avoid blacklists.

/k/ here:

this is fucking stupid.

For one, electrical weapons like this require constant contact in order to maintain effectiveness. Unless you're shooting probes like a legit taser brand taser (as opposed to your pic related stun gun), you have a glorified electric sex toy.

>kill and stun

oh hahaha. The amount of electricity you'd need to reliably kill someone with an electric weapon is rediculous. why even?

 No.39482

Agreed. The no-contact jacket is cool though. I wonder how well it works for anti-taser defense.

All the countries I can think of that will not let ordinary people carry guns also prohibit shock weapons, so you might as well carry a gun because the risk of getting caught is the same. NAA makes a very small revolver that is very easy to smuggle into a country and difficult to find in a search. Of course I would never advocate that anyone would smuggle or illegally carry a firearm, but if you live in a dangerous place it's not a bad idea.

If you need weapons that won't appear to be weapons even if you are strip-searched, wear steel toed boots. Working class men have been using those to stomp the life out of thugs for as long as anyone can remember.
