Both are schway. You'd expect to see the decker rigged out in cyberware vaping in some EL-lit bar with electronic music blasting, while the grizzled investigator in a trench coat smokes in a little hole-in-the-wall place where there's jazz or live piano.

There was this study where they gave rats cancer via vaping.

But reddit (lol) disproved the study because "hurr durr scientists were heating the liquid too much". The ensuing "lol dumb scientists" circlejerk was glorious.

But then I ask myself: The vapers make fun out of scientists because the scientists couldn't get the right vaping temp going but then they trust in some $4 china made device to do it correctly?

I guess we'll see in a few years who's right. Science or mass manufactured cheap chinese vaping devices.

I'm familiar with that, actually. Know why I trust these $4 machines to do it right? Because if you were pushing 500w through a standard gas-station-grade ecig, not even the most hardened smoker would be able to handle the choking, acrid, hot fumes of burning cotton and silicon. Fuck, that kind of wattage will be burning the vape juice, to boot, instead of vaporizing it.

I found vaping far more schway. There are far more smoke coming out from the people who vape, which kinda make a good atmosphere when we're inside.It's similar to the popularisation of hookah recently. It probably will bring to society a feeling of chaos. It's going to give me a good feeling of disgust, but at the same time we're getting closer to an ideal cyberpunk city with it.

The cigarettes in Blade Runner were these corn silk paper French Boyards that they don't make any more. Ridley Scott just liked the super heavy smoke they made, and the way it hung in the air.
