This show is really pissing me off.

Hollywood hacking everywhere of the "furious typing" then "I'm in!" variety, they say "cyber" like a Smurf says "smurf", and anyone who mentions online privacy is invariably a killer or a pedophile.

Did they really need a Captain Erzatz of Slenderman? Isn't Slendy open source?

Plus the Arquette woman has the acting range of a two-by-four.

Tell me this screenshot isn't some kind of injoke?

Yes, it's supposed to satirical or something.

Sorry that it's leddit, but have this:

So >>40475 is half-right. It's more halfway-tech-savvy writers trying to outdo each other for cringe factor.

That said, OP shouldn't have expected anything less from CSI: Cyber. The name alone gives it all away.

I heard that the guy who did the technical stuff for Dexter was actually competing with the technical guy from another TV show and basically just trying to out-do one another with ridiculousness. I'm sure that TV show technical advisors just make up the most insane shit as an inside joke.

So you guys saying we don't get any good cyber shows because production team intentionally and willingly prefers engaging in what essentially boils down to Hollywood analog of shitposting, instead of actually doing their jobs?

Still not as bad as the retards who give an actor a Wangblows 10 PC and call it unix.
