The legitimacy brought by the imperial seal and my civilized ways should help win over the prefecture. Once I've taken over some fortresses I already have an established kingdom, I'll buy the loyalty of the conquered people with abundance and western exotics.
I'll also ride a special white elephant, towering greatly above the buildings and any siege weapons they come up with. As a horselord I am a bit better at controlling one of those.
Hopefully the patriot is convertible to my side, otherwise it might have been better to choose the bandit king to further help my PR as the civilized king fighting a barbarous dynasty
