Since text is needed to avoid flood detection, I'm going to post the recipe for some delicious cornbread in the upcoming posts.
No.161
Here's what you're going to need ingredient wise: 1/2 cup butter, 2/3 cup white sugar, 2 eggs, 1 cup buttermilk, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 cup cornmeal, 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt
No.162
1) Preheat yer oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
No.163
2) Lube up an 8 inch square pan. Cooking spray works well here.
No.164
3) Melt the butter somehow.
No.165
4) Once the butter melts, stir in the sugar.
No.166
5) Add in the eggs and whisk vigorously.
No.167
I should note that the last step works best if you take the butter and such out of whatever you heated it up in and put it in a marge mixing bowl at this point.
No.168
6) Put the buttermilk and baking soda into said mixing bowl.
No.169
7) Add the cornmeal, flour and salt into the bowl. Stir it until blended. Do NOT overstir that shit; a few lumps are fine.
No.170
8) Pour the batter into the pan.
No.172
9) Stick the pan in the oven and leave it alone for 30 minutes. Granted if you smell burning then check on it, but otherwise just leave it alone to do its thing.
No.173
10) After 30 minutes, stick a toothpick in the center of the cornbread. It comes back clean, you're done. Otherwise wait a minute or two.
No.174
And that is how you bake some delicious cornbread.
