It doesn't seem there's as much of it as there should be. With all the monsters, and all the cheesecake in anime they've loosened up the formula quite a lot now. There's more episodes per series that are totally filler, there are characters built around showing some skin instead of moving the plot. You'd think the people creating shows like Twintales or "another random fantasy-world fighter" series would have more "main character girl in mudwrestling contest", or throw a pie or something.

Actually, looks like if you're willing to browse through a million and one dragon quest slimes, monmusu slime girls, etc. you can occasionally find something nice under the 'slime' tag on danbooru and the like.
