Its like the prequels to starwars. To much going on at once. The characters you love become pointless. Trunks becomes to passive. Vegeta grows a mustache?!?! I didn't mind kid goku because I always loved young goku. Krillin punches goku in the face and send him flying (I liked that). It just sucked. Also the whole super sayjin 4 thing was shit. Vegeta goes ssj4 from some machine? Then they fuse in ssj4 and stay ssj4?! Nahhh nigga.

1. The writing was just terrible in general.
2. Focused on Goku way too much (and by too much I mean it literally was nothing but Goku).
3. They tried to bring back the comedic aspect from Dragonball but it was all terrible instead of funny.
4. Pan existing at all, and the writers trying to shoehorn her into relevancy when she couldn't even fucking turn Super Saiyan.
5. The entire first half should have had Goten on the journey instead of Pan. This is probably because the writers were afraid most of the drama would be eliminated seeing how Adult Gotenks would have been as strong or maybe even stronger than SSJ3 Goku. They forgot that Trunks is basically only half a character without Goten alongside, and as I already mentioned Pan is useless. So it just turned into the Goku show.
6. The villains were all stupid, and just kept on getting stupider (Baby was the only one I kinda liked because he was unique). None of them ever really felt like a threat or seemed very awesome or impressive.
7. Did I mention the writing was terrible? Everyone was OOC at some point.
8. Super Saiyan 4 was also just bad. It looked stupid, it made no freaking sense, why did it change their clothes?? Worst of all, their increased strength was an informed ability; they never really seemed any more powerful, as opposed to the previous transformations where you could FEEL the power.
9. What the fuck did they do to Goten's hair? What the fuck did they do to Vegeta's hair? Why the fuck is Trunks' hair more purple? WHY DID THEY HAVE TO CHANGE LITERALLY EVERYONE'S HAIR EXCEPT GOKU'S?!?!
10. Trunks and Goten didn't finally profess their love for each other and get married.
