Broly is like a sort of distillation of all the stereotypes about DBZ. He's a huge screaming super Aryan with no thoughts but HULK SMASH.

He's kind of fun from a standpoint of being a self-parody, but on the other hand he could have actually been an interesting character if he had something more to him than wanting to kill KAKKAROT because he heard him cry as a fucking baby. And what was Paragus' plot exactly. The whole New Vegeta planet thing had potential but it just turned out to be retarded.

They totally should have had defeated this UNSTOPPABLE LEGENDARY MAXIMUM UBER-SAIYAN in a different way too. Big anticlimax. It isn't good.

Also, why did this movie need two sequels?

It was good the first time, but never again.

It's the longest DBZ movie, and about the first 45 freaking minutes of it are dedicated to this big mystery of who this Legendary Super Saiyan is. Since you already know it's goddamn Brolly, you end up bored out of your freaking skull waiting for the actual fighting to start.
