They're a bunch of weaklings. Even the legendary Son of Katats after fusing with the most powerful warrior on planet Namek was trash compared to every single Saiya-jin (even the mongrels) who did the same training he did.

Strength is everything in Dragon Ball so Saiya-jins are the master race.

Is the ability to make freaky mutant children at will something all Nameks could do? Or just Piccolo due to his being the devil or whatever?

And apparently they can become effectively immortal by putting their life essence into an egg, or whatever the excuse was to make it so Kami didn't die because Piccolo Jr was still alive. Even Frieza wanted immortality, but Nameks don't need to wish for it.

No. Once you've fused once you can only give the earrings to another pair to fuse. Vegetto couldn't fuse with another character (by Portara. Dance might work).

You could half the number of beings in the Universe (provided there was an even number to begin with), but after that no more fusions could happen.
