Essentially, Albert Lichi went under the guise of a Gamefaqs username called Gigersupreme. However, he operated under this Gamefaqs account without disclosure that he was a reviewer at Cubed3 and was subsequently caught shilling for his reviews in the past on several different game boards, along with trying to bring down other reviews for the opportunity to tell everyone his own review for the game was better.

After being found out, Lichi proceeded to damage control on top of damage control in a thread on the Nonstop Gaming - General board as well as a Devil May Cry thread (something he did a review for). In the Nonstop Gaming - General thread (or NGG for short) he made more than a few posts where he believed he wasn't doing anything wrong or didn't see the issue with what he was doing, even going so far as to claiming he wasn't a games journalist therefore there wasn't an issue with the shilling they did (kinda like an opposite deflection attempt of Jason Schreier saying the writers at Kotaku are journalists and not bloggers).

The Gamefaqs thread speaks for itself if the people running DeepFreeze have a level 15 account or higher on Gamefaqs they can view the thread in full and read all the deflection and damage controlling done by Lichi to try downplaying the issue. Will post a few screencaps relevant for the people on here to see.

For those who aren't able to view the Gamefaqs thread, I'll just post a bunch of screencaps of the relevant stuff from that thread for you to read, you can figure out from there whether Lichi would merit going on the site. I believe he should for his actions and subsequent behavior after being caught, but that's just my opinion.

I appreciate you gathering this information, but dumping all these images makes things unnecessarily recondite. The least you could do is link an archive or screencap an entire page.

There were over 200 posts in the thread overall, making the thread itself over 20 pages long viewing the thread with default settings. I just wanted to post the screencaps here in case the people running DeepFreeze or others wanted to view what happened but didn't have a Gamefaqs account to view the thread itself, since a level 15 account is required to view that board which is generally having an active account for a week or two.

I can give you archive links of every page if you wish, but each page would require a separate archive link I think so that's around 20 archive links and that's just for the NGG thread. This guy did quite a bit of posting and damage control in that thread. I could also try crafting some archive links for the other relevant threads and stuff he did as well, and compiling the screencaps by page and stuff though that'll take a bit to do. I tried leaving out some irrelevant posts when screencapping stuff to cut down on the number of pics.

Give me a bit of time and I'll try condensing stuff for you guys.

Well just as a quick update archive links won't work with the NGG thread since it's an account level locked board, so it just gives you a login screen when trying to archive the page. I'll try to screencap all the pages and edit them together instead. Archive links should work for the threads elsewhere on the game boards since those are available to browse for everyone.

Whoa, back up. When the fuck did this become a thing on gamefaqs?
