For a couple of days now, sometime after 05/02/15 (Sat), the function to save a file with the original filename has been broken in firefox/palemoon and instead of allowing you to save the image it opens it up in the active browser window Desu~

I don't know if this has been done intentionally or not but I imagine it's not Desu~

I've saved files with the original filename on other boards so it's not my browser acting weird, maybe it is my browser but then only this board is affected Desu~

Just thought I'd let board admin know Desu~

Hmm, do you right-click or do you just click on the original filename to save it Desu ka~

Right-clicking to save original filename does not work at all in firefox, but left clicking works and opens the explorer window to save the file Desu~

This has broken for months sidewide iirc Desu~

here's the code i use to add a "download" button for original filename downloading Desu~

Checked around and found saving the original filenam works on /b/, /v/ and /pol/ for me Desu~

but saving the filename worked for me on this board up until sometime after 05/02/15 which is strange if it has been broken for months Desu~

Ah, maybe hw fixed that feature, i just noticed if you click it on the other boards it saves, i usually right click so i probably didnt notice, as that still saves as the new filename Desu~

I wonder if that button even works Desu~

yup, button works, however i just tested this on couple small boards, doesnt work Desu~

This could have to do with the way the servers are handled, big boards like /b/ /v/ and /pol/ are physically on separate servers due to their size, so this is probably affecting all smaller boards Desu~

I would bring this up on /operate/ Desu~
