I focus on Suiseiseki, but I have all the dolls, I have friends who want pictures of Shinku, Hina Ichigo, Kanaria, and Suigintou now, so I try to grab pictures of them as well a lot, but I usually grab anything that looks nice.

I saved it quiet a while ago Desu~ All of these images have had my touch, the first I took the raw lineart and colored it, the second I photoshopped from another character into Suiseiseki, and the third I photoshopped as well

Once upon a time, the first Russians imageboard, 2ch.ru was created Desu~ At first it was a small board, but eventually 4chan spotted and raided it and brings desu there Desu~ Sometimes there was a desu threads, was an epic this one http://suigintou-thread.narod.ru/ but there was not any fixed communities.

2ch's anons were mad about gets, and someone decided to take upcoming 2M with Rozen Maidens Desu~ There was a thread with some drawings of OC for it, some anons joined it, haters wiped it, and they didn't succeed but a new community was established Desu~

Dealing with constant raids from other anons draw them to use jabber-conferences, steghide scripts, and even creation of a new chans with invites like this: https://bbs.anoma.ch

2ch wasn't a good place, and so was those rozenfags: the whole conversations was in a steghide, they didn't grant access to any newfags and they didn't were a shy to release their hate everyone that are not them Desu~

Not all rozenfags liked these, and there was an outsiders Desu~ Also, some avatarfags (mostly touhou) also want to join then.

At the beginning of the 2009, 2ch.ru had been shut down forever Desu~ The reason was that the admin wanted to create a peaceful and content-rich site like iichan, not the greatest russians hate machine with bumplimit cp threads, constant raids to every other sites, shitposting etc Desu~ The end of 2ch.ru torn apart all russians imageboard communities and so was the rozenfags Desu~ Elite ones bought the small dobrochan.ru and settled there Desu~ It's too long to tell their full story, but they off-springs are still there:

They are not using steghide anymore, but they still bare some similarities with those oldfags (i.e Desu~ you will get banned if you try to post there without RM-related and SFD picture) Desu~ Generally it's believed to be too unfriendly to the outsiders and peoples there aren't worth of contact with them Desu~

Term "Official" meant that the thread was created by rozenfags, not trolls which would wait for a few hours and suicide all posts via self-deletion option Desu~ This kind of terrorism was very common on russian's boards, and most RM-threads had some features to prevent that Desu~ Official ones used some kind of a steghide watermarks, others removed self-detetion form at all, posting links on a genuine threads in a twitter (https://twitter.com/dcship), jabber-conferences (fdc@conference.jabber.ru and many others), using specialized archiving services like http://archive.freedollchan.org/ and posting links to the thread with tripcode on a dedicated board (0chan.ru/_nrmt, 8ch.net/inachrm) Desu~ All these precautions seems to be too complicated and outdated but I think that they are way better that going to IRC, jabber, e-mail or any other unanonymous communication services.

Those outsiders I mentioned formed a separate society Desu~ In fact, it almost have no connection to RM as you may post or not post any characters you like Desu~ They changed many boards, and a very long story with nearly a thousand bump limit threads and eventually came to iichan.hk:

And the third old society is a dollchanship Desu~ It started as a rozenfag community free from traditional authorities and the problems with some boards forced them to change boards frequently Desu~ And they liked this so much that they went to some board, posed there to bump limit and choosed a new one Desu~ Their current location is here http://volgach.ru/b/res/4411.html

Like I said, russians small chans are dying out and so does dcship.

I listed the most known ones, but there are a lot of their spin-offs and newfags originated communities of that kind, and they all have many small variations from each others, own rules, namefags, personal enemies etc Desu~ Those thread on dva-ch is one of the largest of them with a two hundreds bump limit threads behind Desu~ It started on a hidden board of 2ch.hk in the middle of the 2012, moved to 2chru.net, torn apart onto the thread in /a and in /b, the first one moved to 0chanru.net, than to 1chan.ru, xchan.in, 1chan.ru, 2ch.hk/asylum, 1chan.ru again, 0chanru.net, 1chan.ru, 2ch.hk/asylum, and finally make a long stop at the inach.org Desu~ There it lasted almost for two years, merged with 2chru.net/b thread, and now moved to the dva-ch.net Desu~ All those movements had a good reasons for but it's virtually impossible to explain them briefly Desu~

Other thread you may know is 8ch.net/rm Desu~ They started with misposting in a dobrochan's thread, someone tried to count desufags in a thread but missed the "stay in thread" checkbox and created new one, and could not delete it Desu~ dobrochan hve very complicated moderation system and the thread was deleted from view of anyone who didn't opened it prior to deletions Desu~ There was four us us locked there, we could communicate with each other and see a live on a board but no one could see us Desu~ Among other things, I was a stranger from a completely wild, unmoderated and full of shitposts board and dobrochan was the other pole Desu~ Clearly that was a very exiting experience, counter of a total amount of posts was counting on, total number exceeded 2000, and we looked for another approached to save that community Desu~

The most obvious way to do that was to create a simple imageboard based on Kusaba X script on a free hosting but that proved to be unreliable Desu~ At the same time a was lurking whole saved treads on a dobrochan from the 2009 and found an evidence of mass using a steghide Desu~ Bokufag thought that it would be interesting to revive those old technologies and first, rarjpg-like version of DDT was created Desu~

That supermassive thread on dobrochan was finally locked and we have to find a new home Desu~ Bokufag created /desh (states for desu shelter) board where we continued to communicate, totally in second layer Desu~ Eventually, board was deleted by someone due to inactivity, Bokufag claimed an abandoned /rm and we are still there Desu~

Rozen maiden threads have many different rules, and inach-dva-ch one have them too: to not use an extra-chans communication services to avoid any dissimilarities and misunderstandings between members Desu~ At the contrary, Bokufag thought that it would be cool to advertize DDT in my thread Desu~ I decided that it would be very dishonest to speak with some members on an unknown board in a steghide and in my thread simultaneously, leaked my login and pass in public and told a whole story and stop using DDT anywhere Desu~ At first this caused to isolation that threads from each other but later everyone calmed down, and we are frequently contacting each other Desu~ Still, to avoid that kind conflict in future I don't participate on /ddt or lainchan's threads.

Sadly my experience is limited.

I first found Sui on /b/, posting in Desu threads whenever I could, but eventually the Desu dried up there and I moved onto desuchan, where I met many friends, and was also chided much for being a newfag Desu~ I matured a lot there, but sadly I arrived as the site was dying, and it is now quiet dead, though many of us still lurk, checking on it from time to time.

After desuchan sunk further and further into no posts, I began to explore other chans further, discovering what there was on the English boards, sadly little, though my search eventually brought me to lainchan, and then onto 8chan, where I found more desu content and also a new slate, to write Suiseiseki further into another chans history

I then discovered ddt, and the russian chans, and began delving into both Russian and Japanese sides of the net, finding more and more content, letting my collection grow.

For many years before 8chan I thought I was truly the last of my kind, even fellow ex-desuchanners who I am still in contact with thought so, I was overjoyed to find out otherwise

I have been working towards making a giant repository of Suiseiseki and Rozen Maiden images

At the moment im saving more than I am tagging, making it hard to keep up

Where there any repositories of images on the russian chans?

I knew of rmart, even planned to save every image, but waited, i figured it wouldn't go down, this was a mistake I still regret.

Long before 8chan was even on the map,they were banning mention of lainchan on /g/, when the owner was paying for advertisements at the time Desu~ They then held the owners money for a long time and took forever to give it back or even respond to him

I didn't had much time to learn Desu~ At the 1st of April, 2013 started to post in RM-threads there was a question about quantum physics and I knew the exact answer on it, attached some random Suiseiseki art and get stuck there, a month later I leaded the group of ours between different chans, fleeing from a constant wipes, DDoS-es and random avatarfags hijacks Desu~ One Shinkufag gave me some advices how to rule the things, but that experience had nothing to do with a reality of 2013 era chans Desu~

That was a really harsh times, I doubt that, i.e., taking a janitor's account just to leak the IP's and spam the screenshots on the other chan is an usual thing anywhere Desu~ And you know, it's very hard to stop seeking any enemies and just speak Desu~ For two years I watch the tab with my thread daily, and I dream that some day it could stay for itself without my attention.

I am so slow, it takes me a lot longer, then again im tagging and adding many tags not just seperating into single folders, still, I end up getting distracted saving images instead of tagging and sorting

I only sort by characters, 8 folders for each dolls, 28 for each possible pair combination, one folder for all 3 or more dolls on pic, one for full sets (as an op-pics for RM-threads), one for 3d-dolls, one for cosplay, one for RM's human characters and one for crossdressed dolls Desu~ This categories optimized for unambiguous sorting and it is quite easy to select all pics of one kind and move them to appropriate folder Desu~ If a have enough time, I can select a thousand of them per day.

Macros, rm-theads related content, threadshots and similar things I'll sort at the very end, there are some things I don't want to publish.

Hmmmm, I suppose that makes it easier, I have a similar setup, however none of the folders outside the Maidens, other than wallpapers, but the Suiseiseki folder is sorted into a ton of subfolders

Oh of course, I'm not arguing for you to do so or that smaller packs must be made, but, some things are comparable and may be useful for the other to implement, my main point was the terminology of "alternate costume" might be a good method, or tagging real cosplay as "3d" or "real", any English speaker will think "crossplay" is boys dressed as the maidens.

Well, it's really better definition Desu~ The reason to call it with a different word is to distinguish other dolls outfits from unrelated (i.e Desu~ kanaria in Tomoe Mami dress) Desu~ That was a deliberate choice, to separate only the first kind of pictures.

I think that those who was spoonfed with pirated, free and translated anime and manga aren't right with those complaints Desu~ And personal love to rm and it's characters are more important than some elitistic wishes to contain the content in a closed communities Desu~ I understand those who wants to preserve his OC from scattering in a social network, but they have nothing to do with pictures are being created in a pixiv or deviantart Desu~ I'm focused mostly on them, not on a stealing desuchan's local memes.

Traditionally, in a rm-threads spoonfeeding was prohibited Desu~ I'm going to finish that practice and place a slicky link to all sorted packs Desu~ If we won't feed them with RM, then someone else feed them with MLP, KanColle, or what is popular novadays.

Indeed, not to mention i see more people having this content, as essentially, another backup of its existence, the more people have it on their hard drives, the harder it is to be wiped from history, so it may live on forever

If someone say, has content that was never on the internet, I would not bother them about it, but if content has been online and posted somewhere, it has spread, somewhere, someone else has it, and it will be on the internet forever, and I see no need to restrict things like that

Generally, packs requests were ignored Desu~ Some outsiders of the rm-threads could post links to megaupload to a "standard" desuchan's packs, but their content was easily disguised and criticized for low resolution, abundence of local memes, and ecci, and those posters had to form their own packs, or they risked to get totally ignored as a "retards, who didn't watch the title".

That had some sense when newfags flooded all threads with desu just to troll, but now they are totally banned on all major russian boards and there is no need to close ourselves from anons wanting to join us.

Where did you get them Desu ka~ Some chans are known to modify images to purge them from rarjpg's due to frequent CP posting.

Well, there were some rarjpg's and encrypted messages in pictures dated in 2007-2010, something were posted in 2014 via an older, rarjpg-based version of DDT, but I don't know any evidence of using such a pictures nowadays.

But, russian posters use widely two tthings, a Dollchan Extension Tools http://www.freedollchan.org/scripts (more than a half posts made through it, because of it's convenient front-end on any compatible wakaba-, kusaba-, and many others engins) and Overchan-Android mobile app http://miku-nyan.github.io/Overchan-Android/en.html Desu~ Both of them are modifying pictures with some random bits to allow posting of the same pictures on the board that prohibits it Desu~ And almost all popular russian board are based on wakaba- or kusaba engines, so that modifying feature are enable by default Desu~

Sorry, I'm not a programmer, so I don't know how that can be checked Desu~ Sometimes I heard such a claims, but that was a problem with DET, it corrupted jpg's when EXIF deletion was enabled, but that pictures wasn't posted on russian boards at all.

There is another quick option for a small ones: open them in any kind of viewer, print screen, ctrl+v in MS Paint, save, go to next Desu~ I use this scheme for reliable exif cleaning.

Also, the most probable reason of such kind of errors is the DET exif cleaner.

It goes quite well, I have already cleaned all r34 content, manually checked for dubs of animated GIF's, and the last run of double checker with the most loose tolerances is in progress Desu~ I have to halt it up to the weekend preparing an yearly PhD progress report is quite challenging, but if everything would be OK, I'll upload the whole set on ex.ua in a week or two.

I checked the tale pack at 4zip also, which term is correct, "at", "on", or "in" in this context? , is isn't complete Desu~ Russian translations went up to the very end, to the 66th chapter.

At first I was thinking the same way, but those newly added pictures (mostly screencaps from Overture) covers nearly half of folders, you'll need to make a downloads and sorting at you own in this case Desu~ Also, I doubt that there's a many those who wishes to poses a most updated and a whole collection, my friends told that they are more interested in a dedicated folders, so they may check them separately.

Yes, I'll update them eventually too, but the procedure is quite complicated Desu~ You see, I need to make a new rar-archive, upload it to the cloud (it's a way more slower than the downloading) and edit links in both threads Desu~ And I need to do that with each folder separately, so even splitting rars to main and incremental archives won't make any noticeable ease.

I was thinking about that, some pictures were originally got from the third-party screencaps and manga rips, but that's require to spawn a massive amount of new folders Desu~ I intended that folder division to unambiguously place every picture into a single folder, dubs would increase both the total pack size and software dubs removal difficulties.

It would be better to use hydrus for those additional divisions.

I think I'm going to give up trying to sort images into folders for now Desu~ Just make a huge image dumb, all images named by hash to prevent exact duplicates Desu~ Then I will just focus on hydrus tagging, so the collection can be imported and undesirables can be wiped.

I may try something later, but for now, too many new things come in all at once for me to sort, duplicate check, and tag all at once.

I would factor in the fact that she had grown up on hostile world, with her weapon being a stick to defend herself with, so even if not trained in lightsabers specifically, she was very likely well trained in armed combat, while fin was most likely only trained to use blasters, and take out the trash (like the silver trooper, whatever her name was)
