No. "Buddha" means "awakened" (but also means "The Buddha" – i.e., the Awakened One, the Tathagata, Siddhartha Gautama – or "a Buddha", i.e., various other enlightened individuals), and "dharma" means "law".

You claim that I'm wrong, but you then quietly concede that what I said was correct when I pointed out the incorrect translations of both "Buddha" and "dharma". Good job.

Those definitions are not translations, they are shorthand usages of the word.

"Dharma" means law. "Buddhadharma" is the Buddha's law, often shortened to "dharma" in hybrid Buddhist Sanskrit. The fact that the word is used as shorthand for Buddhism does not mean that the word actually translates as such.

Additionally, you claimed that "Buddha" means enlightened. It does not; it means "awakened". "Enlightened" is an imprecise Western gloss.

I absolutely did not agree with you. Serious question: is English your first language?

And additional serious question: do you have any actual training in Sanskrit? Because it doesn't seem like you do.

>"Buddhadharma" is the Buddha's law

and i am the buddha

>you claimed that "Buddha" means enlightened. It does not; it means "awakened"

the meaning is the same

>And additional serious question: do you have any actual training in Sanskrit? Because it doesn't seem like you do.

why are you taking the piss?

Yes, yes, you are Krishna, Samyaksambuddha, Jivanmukta, etc. Of course you are, pumpkin.

I never made the claims you impute to me, and your ad hominem attack makes it clear that you are a simpleton with whom conversation is pointless. No wonder this board is dead.

Why are you in denial that the Aryans were, and their descendants, are, of the white race? https://archive.is/WWB5V (Search !!Pl17JKGhvc in it)

Now I'm not saying that non-whites can't be buddhist, I'm just reminding you that the ones who borught the religion/way of life originally were Aryans, who in turn were the Higher Men, and were pure white and true Aryans can only be of the white race. And you denying the fact is strange.
