Hey OP, I'm in contact with the Diversity Club leaders, and they're interested in having you come speak at one of the meetings about this. It's somewhat common for students to come in an speak about issues they care about, so this would be an opportunity for you to do so.

If you'd like to discuss doing this, just contact the official club leader via email (just look it up on roundcube) and we can set this thing up.

I like Diversity Club in theory, but some of their members have proven they don't want to hear any views that oppose their own.

The original picture shows exactly the type of attitude that shouldn't be welcome at Diversity Club. Instead, it's the attitude that several of it's members have taken.

what you want is not to reach an understanding between my thoughts and yours, you want me to assimilate your viewpoint. that's not going to happen. I think that the image I linked in OP is hypocritical and stupid and wrong. nothing you guys say about punching up vs punching down or ally status or microaggressions or whatever the fuck is going to change my perspective on the matter (I've already considered your perspective and found it to not mesh with my overall worldview). so of course the first thing on my to-do list is to out myself as someone who disagrees with a lot of the "social justice" mindset IN FRONT OF the most "social justice" people at school. because that wouldn't be career suicide or anything, given how social justice issues are treated.
