>>768Ellen is a jack of all trades. If you need a connection to somebody, she is the person you need to know. You NEED to get to know her. If she knows you by name, because of a certain thing then you're in a right direction.
Rachel is more about team dynamics, but her comments aren't practical when it comes to suggestions to your game at least from my experience. If your team gets along well and isn't ignoring the facts then her voice is worthless.
Which by the way didn't really help my team from blowing up and splitting up. I wonder if spoiler tags work.
>>772Chris apparently is no longer part of digipen, but whatever Chris mentioned was 10/10 legit feedback. Ben on the other hand.. He's great, but he's an idea guy. The idea guy that is grading your game that you should listen to, but beyond that? He's alright, but a step above Rachel.
>>1370Yes and no. I believe he's replacing Chris until the BSCS gets large enough then he may bounce out of the game aspect of Digipen. As far as I can tell from his enthusiasm of the CSProjects, he doesn't care that much about games in comparison to actual software. Plus, according to Ben, RTIS/BSCS can more or less interchangeably choose CS project or GAM project so I do wonder what the first round of softwares will be created by digipen. Ben also jerked off to the idea of VR while Stephen Beeman was intrigued by the ideas from everyone else. What ideas?
