It probably doesn't account for every time you've gone to use it, but it's not uncommon for all of the toilets to be claimed/closed off for cleaning except that one.

Honestly it seemed to me that calling it the "All-Gender Restroom" was meant as a selling point for the school before anything else. They've bragged about it during the tours, but with just one of them hidden away it looks like it's some novelty item. The sign might as well say "For Display Only".

Really they should look into building more restrooms in general, especially if they plan to raise the student body count like they seem to be testing out It's not like they don't have the money, and if we're not getting the gym back then I'm sure Claude could survive without using all of it for storing his miniature airplanes.

What if they have crippling social anxiety keeping them from using the regular bathroom?

What if they are non gender-conforming and also have anxiety about using the restroom? Or even a physical disability?

I think the name of the bathroom is dumb, only people that would weird out other people should go in that bathroom. When someone takes too long in there I just go to the mens bathroom and I can see people get physically creeped out. I personally have no issue with it, but if you think having a quiet place to poop for an hour is worth making several other students very uncomfortable then go for it.
