It does if you have financial aid. If you fail a class or have too low of a GPA then *poof* there goes several thousand dollars.

For jobs? Companies usually don't give a shit.

Other than that most jobs don't give a fuck. The only place that I know of that actually had GPA for a graduate/intern was NASA.

Your grade does not tell anyone how knowledgeable you are at the subject despite what the grading scale is meant to be. It just shows you can test well.

Those group projects you do? They show what you know

Unless you graduate with a 4.0, then no…and even then, it probably wont.

It MIGHT if you were coming from a different college but DigiPen has a reputation for destroying people. Managing to make it to your junior year at DigiPen is often just as good as getting a degree with a 4.0 at most colleges in the eyes of most HR reps.
