I hated GAM 150 because it felt like they didn't prepare you for it and GAM 150 Club was the one resource that got many people through it, but… now that I've taken it, GAM 200/250 is that much more manageable. Without the old "make a game in C" GAM 150, I have no idea how any sophomore game is going to succeed at all next year. There certainly won't be any new SubRays like they want.

the GAM classes are garbage in general. They're not even classes. There is no instruction about how to do what they ask you to do.

It's good practice in figuring out how to succeed in a fucked environment though. Think of it this way: Once you get a job, they'll actually provide you with support, so your professional career will seem that much more pleasant in comparison.
