I made another kinograph thing. I think it really shows Clara's emotional Journey.

Prefers Amy:

Reminder that the Daleks and Davros are cripples in wheelchairs. And to deny the series' anti-cripple agenda is a bigger affront to the series than any Chibnall script.

amy = asuka

clara = rei

one of them has red hair

But Clara didn't have blue hair. And she's not a clone of the Doctor's mum. And she doesn't become a giant body that turns all of Earth into tang.

>clara splinters

>rei clones

theres gotta be something here right

based mini-sode writer

Don't some midgets need wheelchairs?

Why doesn't the Doctor go to a soup kitchen and shoot up all the homeless people? None of those homeless people have any hope left in their lives, so they can't be pillars of hope. Therefore, they must die to keep the show's message pure.

>bbc watermarks on all

Get better sources

It's Moffat obviously, he has clone fetish (don't know what the formal name for that fetish is)

Don't be hard on OP. They're probably a cripple. Their time will come soon enough.

I want an episode where Yaz mentions her disabled friend, and the Doctor says she has a plan. The Tardis leaves, and then just as suddenly returns. Then we cut to Yaz's friend being fine, and the Yaz asks the Doctor what she did. The Doctor replies, "eugenics!". Yaz retorts: "but eugenics have always been part of british society". The Doctor adds, "Well, it has now. Now that I've changed society for the better"

you noticed the bbc watermarks, but not that the images are horribly unaligned with eachother. It can barely be described as a grid.

What do you expect me to do, not use iPlayer as my source? I cant be fucked to do anything else

hey kinda how would you like an account on the Bub Hub Pregnancy & Parenting forum?

>What do you expect me to do … can't be fucked

be fucked

I wanna be fucked…. by Clara. But we can't always get what we want.

I doubt Clara wants to fuck cripples.

I mean, she fucked a PE teacher…

Just because he was black doesn't mean he was crippled. Don't be a cletus.

This is fantastic

>I am the God of change and no one can stop me.

Still salty at that one reviewer who made it sound like TWWFTE would address knife crime

That's like saying any episode where the Doctor gets pissed off about guns "tackles gun violence".

Any shows or movies where we see a lot of Jenna's thighs? Asking for a friend

Calm down

considering how they "tackled" automation I don't think i want them to address anything interesting ever again

I'll the pass the message on to my friend

Hey Kinda?

>Pete McTighe tackles sex crimes

>Doctor: "Human trafficking isn't the problem. It's people who are the problem."

>Pimp: "You're right, Doc. I'll give my hos 20% less slaps from now on."

>Prostitution? i could be a prostitute!, imagine ME as a prostitute! what a laugh!

>Yaz: Do you like having sex with men for money?

post a screenshot, i want to see my work

>The Doctor: Of course! How else do you think I ended up pregnant with an interracial baby?

The Timeless Child was mentioned in the episode The Ghost Monument by the Remnants. I've heard of a few theories myself and I have one as well. In fact I have a few. I'd love to know what anyone else may think who the timeless child really is.

Notice: If you are new to doctor who with this series and plan to watch the previous seasons then I suggest not reading any further if you hate spoilers.

My theory: considering the conclusion to series 9, both Clara and Me(Ashildr) run away with their own Tardis. Clara was still held in stasis by the machine used on Gallifrey. The doctor tried to escape by running away once again but it didn't work. Clara still couldn't feel her pulse. The doctor ended up using a device to save Clara by having her forget him but he didn't know if it was going to be him or her that forgot the other. Long story short. The device worked on the Doctor and he forgot Clara (even though he remembers her in Twice Upon a Christmas). Then Clara and Me run away just as the Doctor did when he first stole the Tardis and left Gallifrey. Considering that Me can't die and Clara is still held in her stasis state (thats fun to say), could the two be the timeless child? Since in a certain perspective time does not affect them? For Ashildr, she was watching the universe end in series 9. She had been alone watching everything else die around her. Clara is herself from another moment in time right before her death. In a sense, Time isn't moving forward for her because she is still stuck in that moment. They both can't age they are both unaffected by the progression of time overall. Maybe it's just one of them instead of both? Maybe it's not either of them at all. Could it be a previous character from classic who? Could it be another friend or acquaintance that the Doctor knew as a child?

I can't believe kinda's up at this time. what a night owl

"War crimes aren't the problem. It's people who are the problem."

what are some doctor who episodes where the villains plans are revealed before he even get's to enact them?

I want to write a boomer Doctor Who episode about selfie sticks.

I want to write a Doctor Who episode about the dangers of masturbation.

I wanna see an episode about a planet where the pc police execute you if you hurt someone's feelings.

If it was written by Gareth I'd watch it

It's already the premise of a red dwarf episode, but I think it's about time Doctor Who took on the topic

bells of st john but people get sucked into the machines by selfie sticks

I wanna see a Demons of Punjab style ep about the emu war. starring kinda and neo. One of whom is playing an emu

got up to oxygen in my capal era rewatch right after kerblam airs, is this a coincidence?

Are there any pair of episodes more yin and yang than Oxygen and Kerblam?

your oxygen allowance is running low, kinda

Magnussen from His Last Vow is Moffat's best "monster", prove me wrong

hey kinda, still waiting on my screenshot of your inbox

weeping angels unironically

Classic, but they don't fucking piss in anyone's fireplace

I had forgotten about that scene. I change my mind. the piss man is best

funnily enough they've both got "i have friends who are x" gags

Hey Kinda

I'm kinda sad.

kinda i need to see the results of my destruction

I have friends who are Kindanonymous but they won't be friends much longer if they don't cough up their screenshots.

Kinda sweetheart, give the man his picture.

Can we just headcanon Kerblam as a prequel to Oxygen? Say the executives lied and pushed harder to authoritarianism, until they gave up having a smiley mascot and became a cold, faceless company that couldn't give a shit about its workers?

they all got deleted wtf you want me to do?

why did you delete them?

we need based mathieson to do an oxygen novelization where it's revealed kerblam is the parent company

Oh my god, can you imagine? Pete would commit sudoku

All the best villains involve pissing in some capacity, see Magnussen and Lex (Eisenberg)

you can tell a writer is absolutely based if they destroy the sonic at the start of the episode.

It's too bad she only did nudity when she had flat tits before they got all pumped up.

oxygen is more of a ratchet and clank episode than kerblam ever hoped to be, the suits even sound like the weapons vendors for fucks sake

and bring it back 3/4 of the way through with a contrived reason.

and the villain from the pilot

I think it's just push-up bras

>watch Oxygen

>think "capitalism is bad" message was annoying

>watch Kerblam

>think there should have been "capitalism is bad" message

Nah Oxygen was too commie, and Kerblam wasn't thatchery enough

oxygen isn't commie at all really, it's just anti-capitalism, the doctor literally says that humans find something worse after getting rid of capitalism

Even that's too much for Nilso.

Kek this is the best one

>dont you dare!

im in fucking tears

God, Mathieson is so fucking based.

How many organic parts are left in Nardole? Is it just his head?

I like the ambiguity of Nardole's organicness

his dick

This sounds like the KTM pasta

If he has an organic dick, the doctor reattached it. if he has a synthetic one, the doctor made it. he either has a dick, or the 12th doctor has handled his dick.

Oops. Correction:

He either has no dick, or the 12th doctor has handled his dick.

Is Barrowman the Shatner of Doctor Who?

>think they're God's gift to mankind

>really fucking hammy

>show up to every convention

>think they can sing

>co-workers think they're annoying and have stories of them being an ass

>appear in washed up celebrity reality shows

>played a Captain

Yes, especially considering Jack in TEC/TDD explicitly represents swaggering American-style sci-fi

>fucks barely legal boys

you're on to something

if that's true how come barrowman hasn't fucked me yet

Maybe you're below John "Will fuck anything as long as there's a cock on it" Barrowman's standards.

i have a cock

who is kaworu?

The Moment? I'd say the TARDIS, but she's definitely Unit 01.

tfw doctor who doesn't have any cute white hair boys

definitely skelly

>tfw doctor who doesn't have any cute boys

Charlie was kind of cute before he was revealed as het and a terrorist.

him being a brave fighter for worker's rights only made him cuter desu

what a brave man, killing people so that more people can work monotonous low income jobs away from their families

>that more people can work monotonous low income jobs away from their families

And that would have been the best-case scenario of his plan. Realistically, it would have led to Kerblam going under but another rival company taking over with either the same or worse working conditions and mandate policies as Kerblam did.

The solution to automation is not forcing companies to be less productive by hiring humans.

Better than no job at all when you're living under capitalism.

What was Charlie expecting when concocting his bomb plan? Did he not expect Kerblam to find out and kill his loved ones as revenge?

why would he think that would be a possibility?

>the real first female dr

I would waifu her so hard

He wouldn't expect a mega corporation run by an all-knowing AI to find out what a lowly wage slave is doing in his off time?

i thought he was a disabled

He wouldn't expect an AI to kill people for the greater good

Why wouldn't he expect a business-focused AI to use the cold, calculating logic that is Utilitarianism?

first law of robotics

why didn’t the ai just kill the guy fucking with it?

this isnt the Asimov universe, this is the whoniverse

It tried to do that first, but judy pulled the robot's head off

Why didn’t it just try again?

How would all of the other Doctors handled Kerblam?

because machine learning would have concluded that the same end result would happen each time as long as he was with the other peopl

Clara could have sorted out the factory by herself and looked hot as fuck doing it. She would have kissed twirly and got all sexual with him too.

stop making kinographs with non-chronologically ordered images reeeeee

Lol was thinking same thing, autism acting up

If ai can’t come up with better way to kill the dude then it really shouldn’t be in charge of a factory the size of a moon

the factory wasn't the size of a moon, it was a factory that existed on a moon.

alright /who/ get ready to be WOKE:

charlie was NOT fighting for workers rights in any way.

Charlie was a HARDCORE capitalist and he was sick of people who should be working class peasants, reaping the rewards of UBI and automation to get a free ride through life (basically nobody had a job, but somehow everyone could afford to order from kerblam?).

Charlie thought there was only one way to stop this and force the populous to cease being LAZY COMMIES, make everyone to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and get a job, and to do this he would cause all automation to be shunned and destroyed, killing a few thousand lazy proles along the way.

This is why he had absolutely no issue killing the workers like Dan, because he himself was a rich elite (reminder he had a VERY high class education and already led a hugely privileged life), and rich elites couldn't give two shits about killing the workers to pursue their desires.

imagine an 11-13 multi-doc episode

>(basically nobody had a job, but somehow everyone could afford to order from kerblam?).

suzy's family could never afford to give her a single gift. Between overpopulation and automation, only the smart people would have jobs - and the smart people would be enough to maintain a delivery company's sales

Kill The Moon - if you believe the abortion metaphor

The Ark

The Pyramid at the End of the World - if you believe the consent subtext/metaphor

Matt didn't pull it off either, that speech was when his era fully jumped the shark. Completely unwarranted and unearned emotions, dishonest storytelling

The Celestial Toymaker - if you can handle three episodes of Steven and Dodo fucking around and contributing nothing.

dont get the hate for this episode, sure it's a bit slow but the production is excellent in every aspect, i honestly like it, great performances all round too.

How so?

the rings of akhaten is great, easily the best of s7

picture this.

>(series 8) 12 with Yaz and Ryan

>13 with Graham and Clara

against eachother. Dr who: civil war

redpill me on why its good, I havent seen it since it aired, and I think I wasnt overly into it on first airing

Why do people hate this episode?

another classic 11 speech, depicts alien culture, closest thing to a musical episode

Because Angie. The episode would be 90% better if they left her back home.

There is no reason for 11 to suddenly do a speech. It's done for "big emotions" but it's completely unearned and serves no purpose in the story.

Nice. I might rewatch it this week then

I generally do not get the hate for 7B.

File: b6ada0b65ce3b7e⋯.jpg (1.7 MB, 3840x2160, 16:9, barnkinochrono.jpg)

I did that idea I proposed of making a grid of barn shots (don't worry I'm not the guy who makes those improperly aligned ones with BBC watermarks).

I decided to present the eps in chronological order for the barn, to show the progression and also so that shot from DotD would go in the centre. Tried to stick to images with the barn in them rather than close-ups of characters/etc. Any thoughts or possible improvements?

I dont hate it as much as most seem to, but I feel it has the wrong instinct when it comes to depicting the cybermen. some of the stuff with the cybercontroller wasnt bad, but it's like the opposite of World Enough and Time in some ways. Makes them very robotic I think

It's just a non-series, it leaves no impression on you and does nothing to justify its existence.

Just like Series 11 then?

>don't worry I'm not the guy who makes those improperly aligned ones with BBC watermarks

you love me really. I think im done with kinographs now though. the clara one was the culmination of my art.

Are there any shots between episodes that have a similar view, so it's possible to directly compare how the set changed between shootings?

young la flame he in nilso mode

Kind of. S11 tries to justify its existence and fails, 7 just doesn't try.

Why was 10 such a bitch to Martha?

>It's like Back to the Future?

>The film?

>No the novelisation, yes the film!

Demons and Kerblam are better than any S7 episode

could you possibly do a version ordered by columns rather than rows?

We don't get anything about Clara's life and personality other than "she babysits these two kids and her mum died", and doesn't develop the chemistry with 11 that she does with 12. The Impossible Girl arc is so underused that you could from Bells of St John to Name of the Doctor and miss nothing. And it never felt like a big countdown to the 50th Anniversary. Just a bunch of oneshot episodes.

because he was still upset over rose and needed to take it out on someone

because gareth roberts found out martha was black

for what purpose? people read left-to-right, top-to-bottom in the western world

Wait her mum died?

Lol no

Her tombstone shows up in Rings of Akhaten. Strongly implied to have died in the Auton attack in Rose because of her death date.

btw i forgot to mention it's really great. I wouldnt change a thing. But maybe u dont wanna take my advice on it lmao

A shame Dalton's too busy doing Doom Patrol, and they apparently forgot Don Warrington's phone number.

Chibnall episode hate is deserved, but S11 episodes shouldn't be automatically dismissed. S7 was largely unengaging non-episodes, and demons and kerblam are better than anything that series put out.

File: 8a38961b42a024c⋯.jpg (1.71 MB, 3840x2160, 16:9, barnkinochronovert.jpg)

I didn't write this

It's still better written and better acted and better directed than Demons or Kerblam!.

>people read left to right

exactly, if you have a set of three episodes, you would order them from left to right.

thank you, this looks great.

I had a dream last night that World Enough and Time was a 7 and 10 multi Doctor story and the first cliffhanger was 7 getting shot by Simm-Master and regenerating into McGann

yeah I wasn't sure.

>Demon Headmaster as Rassilon

kind of based

>that photoshop on the cover

I thought Terence Hardiman died in 2010. I remember reading an article on it after he was in The Beast Below.

It's simply not better written. It's less engaging and leaves no impression on you.

Asylum of the Daleks > The Woman Who Fell To Earth

Dinosaurs on a Spaceship > The Ghost Monument

A Town Called Mercy > Rosa

The Power of Three > Arachnids in the UK

The Angels Take Manhattan > The Tsuranga Conundrum

The Bells of Saint John > Demons of the Punjab

The Rings of Akhaten = Kerblam!

I really think series 11 could have been better written. It's exactly what the audience expect really. It's a bit… nyergh… boring

How can you say something like that when

>I'm trying to imagine the answer to the question but I can't quite see the solution

is an actual line of dialogue in Series 11?

Holy shit I just realised this is true

I had a dream last night that 7 and 10 fucked me in the arse while the Simm Master watched, masturbated, and came so hard he regenerated into McGann

>11x12 - The Land of Dickens. Being a Work of the Master of the Land of Fiction

>Written by Steven Moffat & Mark Gatiss and Armando Ianucci

>The Doctor receives a metatelegram from her old friend Charles Dickens, leading her and her friends once more into the accursed Land of Fiction, where they discover the storied writer presiding as Master of the Land. Stalking the realm are characters from Dickensian lore, inexplicably taking the form of figures from the Doctor's lifetimes past, future, and yet to be lived. Can the Doctor and friends persuade Dickens that his gifts are greatly needed in the material world? What role will our travellers play on the Dickensian stage that lies before them? Who is the Timeless Child?

Are you saying that those screencaps are examples of good or bad posts?

That's the guy who became Brazil's new president. He looks horrible because he got stabbed during a campaign. He's also pretty insecure, as you can see from all the katanas in the background.

Oh shit you're right, it is Bolsonaro

Isn't there a sizable Japanese population in Brazil? Those swords probably don't look too out of place.

imagine if it turned out theresa may had multiple katanas. I would do a complete 180 and start supporting her

Please make a photoshop of him watching Jodie

Theresa May: Do I have Katanas? Yes, of course I do, I love their music. I'm a great fan.

on the one hand I like theresa may because she hates the poor, but on the other hand i just dont think women should be allowed in positions of power

On first glance, I didn't get why Bolsonaro won. He looks like he's a decade older than he actually is, and the only people I've seen defend him are /pol/tards. But then I found out the last president's approval ratings were in the single digits. And that's past the point where the opposing party could hire anybody or anything to be the opposing candidate and win. Even a chewed-up shoe.

>2 The Tsuranga Conundrum

Tsuranga is a perfectly functional episode that does nothing blatantly wrong. It's not exceptional in any way but the normies who think it's the worst thing ever are absolute fucking morons

>It’s a perfectly good episode of Doctor Who that just happens to be, you know… evil.

>they should have taken the side of the character who wanted to start a violent revolution against automation!

>It probably thinks no platforming is awful and that restaurants shouldn’t refuse service to fascists

just watched airzone solution. it was okay and then it ended. liked the part where colin went ape shit and threatened corporate lady. curious that when nick briggs acts he always gets cast as cowardly leaders.

i want an episode with nazis in russia, so the fandom can melt down by saying that 13 condemning hitler makes her a communist, and 13 condeming stalin makes her a nazi. All things are binary

>in a diverse cast full of young people the show is by miles most interested in Graham.

Is it really, though? All signs point to the only meaningful character arc being with Ryan. Graham generally ends up being the most likeable character due to his delivery, but relatively little attention has been put on his "character arc" of coping with the grief of losing grace.

Watch the Phelous review of it, it is fun

I don't think I can enjoy the pleasures of the episode and rate it on technical achievement because what it's doing is so blatantly unethical that enjoyment doesn't matter. This is honestly a contender for worst new series story precisely because nothing else has so clearly and intentionally endorsed late Capitalism. It's a story that's so ludicrously mean spirited in its politics that the last ten minutes retroactively destroys all the good parts of the episode. Sure, I disliked The P'Ting Dillema and The Ghost Monument, but they were just incompetent, not pure evil.

I thought I'd be less angry about this by now, but I'm not. Fuck this era. Only Demons of the Punjab is salvageable.

this, Ryan is chibnalls Rose and graham is just their because of his relation to Ryan and Yaz is there because the BBC made chibnall add her

still rates as 3rd

>Fuck this era. Only Demons of the Punjab is salvageable.

getting real sick of this shite, she literally had positive reactions to every single episode (bar rosa), you don't get to join the anti-chib gang suddenly because you got verged over someone fumbling the politics in his episode.

I basically agree with her points on the episode based off this but she's still acting like a child.

>she's still acting like a child.

i expect nothing less tbqh

Yaz is there so ryan can talk about his feelings with someone who isn't the person he's withholding from and who is his own age.

Chibnall probably made a conscious decision that he wanted 3 companions because muh hartnell formula, then he thought of the story involving a boy and his grandfather, which made the third companion of little importance but still required for his vision.

That was a copy/paste of a comment on the article, not sandifer herself

a furry baneposter, no less

it's sad though honestly, i hate to say it but I feel like the series would be substantially better if yaz wasnt in it at all.

We'd have a truly unique Tardis team for once and it would make the dynamic so much more interesting.

oh, my mistake.

It is not even that

is just the company did not do anything more than what they were obliged to do

>capitalism is evil!

>>the show has to make me feel good 100% of the time or I'll petulantly whinge

i know right, like i'm consistent that the only reason i dont like the episodes politics because it presents it poorly, not because of the actual politics themselves, getting that furious and emotional over it because of no reason other than it doesnt coddle you is so dumb

>tfw the alternate universe /who/ is enjoying a classy 13 with Graham and Ryan

What would they be getting up to?

There’s only one kind of doctor who fan I fear and that’s the kind that refers to all doctors as she because of Jodie

It's not that, though.

The company wasn't obliged to hire more human staff. They do though, and it's portrayed as a happy ending. Even though the episode stablished that the jobs there were monotonous, life draining and meant living away from your family, and that they were better off being done by robots.

The main issue with kerblam isn't the climax, it's the epilogue.

>tfw the alternate universe /who/ is enjoying a classy 13 with Graham and Grace

>Ryan died in premiere

What would they be getting up to?

Series 11 would be so much better if Yasmin and Ryan weren’t companions and Grace had joined instead.

what about the 13+ryan only timeline, what's happening there?

That's not a compromise, though. The episode provided no reason as to why automation was a bad thing, outside of "people mad". Giving people jobs that would be better done by robots is not a positive outcome.

That’s the timeline that makes /pol/ the most verged

13 confused Ryan with a plank of wood and accidentally left him in 1953

How. How does any functioning person write the first forty minutes of this script, look back at what they've written, and then think, "And I'll let Kerblam! go on behaving exactly the same but to more people, and the Doctor's fine with that."

mostly /pol/tards and pics of jodie's feet. so nothing's different.

any nuwho companion would think 13th was a weak wimpy person

Series 12 finale reveals Salamander regenerated into Jodie and has been pretending to be the doctor this whole time while the real doctor, Kris Marshall, has been tied up

>Rose would call her a fag

She'd do that to any nuwho doctor except Twelve

12/nardole had a "superior/subordinate but with mutual respect" relationship, which was relatively formal but affectionate. 13's totally informal and just wants friends to hang out with, in a way nardole wouldn't even be able to function with her

On the one hand, yay, the Gallifrey series is one of Big Finish's most creative (low bar) and Vol 1 was pretty fun. But it seems like they're actually sticking with the departures of Leela, Ace, and Braxiatel from Vol 1, which is pretty stupid considering they were definitely the best parts of it. I'm worried that without them, the series will drift toward the mediocrity of the War Doctor sets. Time will tell, I guess.

Romana (rather stupidly) sent Leela on a mission to keep an eye on the War Master, which ends in him pushing her into the Time Vortex. Presumably as set-up for Leela's War Doctor audio and her Companion Chronicles set during the LGTW.

Time Lord Ace went on a mission with Braxiatel but she figured out how manipulative he was so he wiped her mind and dumped her on Earth. Presumably as set up for "A Charitable Earth" and the Class audio?

At the very end of the set Braxiatel sends a little message to Romana and Narvin saying basically, best of luck, you guys are in way over your head, I'm out of here.

Seems like none of them (War Master included) will be returning in Vol2. It would've been kino to see how some event of the LGTW affects Earth through Ace's eyes. But maybe that'll come in a future set; I trust Handcock.

Rise of the cybermen/age of steel is still the best "cyberman story" of nuwho. Every other one has been weak or not actually focused on the cybermen, just using them as an accessory for a separate character driven story

>11x13 - Dying Words

>The Doctor faces a harsh reality when she is forced to visit her old friend Alastair Lethbridge-Stewart during his dying moments for some top-secret intelligence info that will prove vital in saving the universe. Unfortunately, the dying Brigadier mistakes the Doctor for his adult daughter, Kate Stewart, who is in reality currently stationed in Melbourne investigating an unprecedented congregation of Boneless discovered on Hozier Lane. The Doctor, knowing that this is the Brigadier's last day on Earth and that Kate will not be able to make it to his deathbed in time even if her duties permitted, is forced to pretend that she is indeed Kate Stewart, as the Brigadier confesses that only if he is able to die with his daughter by his side will he die happy. The Doctor, under the guise of Kate, is consequently forced to listen to the Brigadier's laments that the Doctor never came to visit him during his final months. On top of this, will the Doctor be able to delicately gain the information she needs from the Brigadier while playing the role of a beloved family member in these tender final moments? And will she survive Kate's reckoning when she learns what's happened upon her return from Melbourne?

>(Comedy, 30min)

Braxiatel sends a little message to Romana and Narvin saying basically, best of luck, you guys are in way over your head, I'm out of here

If Romana's making stupid decisions then I don't really blame him. It's probably what I'd do.

>I've kind of made Jack a hero that I would like to have looked up to as a little boy because as a little boy, I knew I hated wheelchairs but I didn't know what it was. Didn't know who to talk to about it. I wanted kids to like him, and I wanted women, men, I wanted everyone with usable legs to like him. But first I wanted people to hate him. Also The Doctor's Daughter, great episode.

is planet of the ood a real episode? I know I've seen it but I have literally no memory of it whatsoever. Does it actually exist?

Sorry, but no.

Yes, and it's pretty good.

Why? It's one of the more creative episodes of NuWho.

I rewatched it a couple months ago and it was actually pretty enjoyable. Obviously about slavery and the deaths are satisfying.

It's not a bad episode, it's just bland and by the numbers.

>Kerblam is voiced by Joe Miller from Broadchurch

>Joe Miller murdered Jodie Whittaker's son in Broadchurch

>Kerblam was a story about Jodie forgiving Joe for killing her boy

I don't like how Chris hires people from Broadchurch for some reason. It makes me feel like he didn't have enough faith in himself to get new actors/actresses in roles ( ik I'm wrong but it feels like it)

screaming into his pillow over Kerblam! being good

Kerblam was a good episode, but the lack of clarity in its messaging drags it down.

Portraying the company as evil for the sake of misdirection and the episode actually being about terrorism was perfectly fine, but why hiring more humans when robots suited the job better, and giving 2 weeks paid leave for 1 month off was portrayed as a good resolution, I'll never know.

Demons > Kerblam > rest

this is indesputable. It's like saying Girl in the Fireplace>Impossible Planet/Satan Pit.

Giving 2 weeks paid leave for 1 month off seems like it was meant to be pointed commentary on capitalism, however all of the characters seem perfectly fine with that outcome without so much as a "hey that doesn't add up" glance

it feels like the episode was written in the future, instead of being written about the future. every time something obviously stupid happens, everyones just fine with it. it's almost satire tier.

Yeah that's why it's so weird. Pete seems to be aware that things are fucked up, but also seems to give it a pass because even the Doctor doesn't raise meaningful objection.

no, henrik was drugged and john didn't exhibit any symptoms himself, so we can assume he was perfectly lucid. the neurotoxin was synthesised to kill his patients, not for himself to take. he chose suicide by drowning because it had personal significance to himself and henrik

he weighed himself down, so he sank and drowned

The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos

What makes your beliefs more legitimate than theirs?

I fucking loved Kerblam 1.0 and it may just be my fav one off character in multiple seasons honestly.

I mean, one company changing its hiring practices doesnt really solve that much either, unless the implication is that they are influential enough to. The ending was definitely muddled, but everything right up to it was solid.

Also one thing that bugged me, they say Kerblam is the biggest retailer in the galaxy, and the Doctor gets a teleport delivery while in the time vortex no less, but then the rest of the episode implies the only supply one human planet.

It may just be Spiders based purely on how many people said it apparently triggered their phobia.

Jodie's outfit improves by a thousand when the coat is off

How many years do you think it will take after landing on Mars that they decide capitalism should be introduced to the colony?

implying it won't be founded on capitalism from the start

And people like you have the gall to say to others that they live in a fucking echo-chamber or a bubble

How would that work? It’s in the best interest of the colony for everyone to live so they’re not going to deny medical help to someone who can’t afford it

Pretty much every space or Mars mission right now is a rich group or company looking for a bunch of people to rule over in space where laws arent as fixed and shit.

Their health will be maintained as it is more profitable for them to be healthy but that would still be keeping them alive for their revenue generating potential.

I love Jodie's outfit, I hope they diversify her wardrobe further in Series 12. I know some aren't keen but I think it's brilliant.

It's important that jodie has a limited amount of outfits to challenge the "you can't wear the same outfit twice" culture that women have

I'd love a cream or salmon coloured jacket

*salmon or peach coloured

So when the season ends and the rankings come out, which Chibnall episode will end up in sixth place behind all the guest writers?

I've always wanted to cream in a salmon.

either woman or the finale

I mean I also love it, I just love it more without the jacket.

I think that as far as modern Doctors go its the closest to feeling as wacky as some of the earlier ones without feeling out of place in modern times

For me, Tsuranga or potentially the finale. Who am I kidding though, the finale will be a shiteshow.

Do you think chibnall was tempted to put question marks on 13's outfit?

Only based contrarians know Tsuranga was the best Chib ep of S11 and the Pting is the best Chib(ish) monster

Why? He doesn't like the JNT era.

Tsuranga had a god tier premise and a really lame execution, probably the widest gap between idea and execution in the series for me. Im mainly excited to see what the expanded universe or later writers do with that alien, even though I really dislike unstoppable things in Who, like the Shade.

It's probably gonna be Woman for me too. I think Ive only loved 3 or 4 finales in the revived series so its not like I have a track record of being satisfied by them so far

I think he should've put some BIG BLOODY HOOKs to reflect the writing style that he prides himself on

Should have given her boots with a ? print on the sole

And yet 13's costume evokes that era more than any modern doctor

I'll give you the alien for sure

That's because it wasn't originally a Chibnall episode.

Definitely Arachnids unless the finale is amazing. Arachnids wasn't even that bad.

File: d4a3372be91f442⋯.jpg (136.39 KB, 1920x1080, 16:9, 57dba274168539597eae3b5e8a….jpg)

Reminder that the best bit about Tsuranga wasn't even thought of by Chibnall

what's the story on that then?

Also arachnids was definitely not bad, I think Ghost Monument and Tsuranga are the ones I like the least.

*axel F plays*

pting pting

>11x 14 - A Chibfuck Carol

>The ghosts of Pip and Jane Baker visit Chris Chibnall in his home in an attempt to save his soul. They show him visions of himself as a teenager on live television criticising Season 23, the sceptical and critical young boy lost to the wastes of time. They then show him pages on pages of /who/ threads and all the despondent /who/res within. They then show him a future of the show cancelled and only leagues of Big Finish Krasko Chronicles to placate the fans. Chibnall then learns the error of his ways and realises that he is not fit for purpose.

>(Documentary, 5min)

Writer dropped out last minute, Chibnall had to finish it. For me, Ghost Monument and Tsuranga were flawed but TWWFTE was unbearable. Worst episode of Series 11 by far.

Ghost Monument should've been a minisode, I can't remember feeling more like my time had been wasted after watching an episode

Why? TWWFTE was more engaging than any other chibnall-only episode

Arachnids > Ghost Monument > The Woman Who Fell to Earth > The Tsuranga Monument

I reckon Ranskoor av Kolos will end up between Ghost and Woman but I'm not gonna hold my breath

Woman kept me interested and engaged the whole way through

Ghost monument lost me

Arachnids didn't do anything to turn me off but didn't grab my attention much in the first place

Tsuranga had me interested the whole way through but there were dumb things that took me out of it

Woman > Tsuranga > Arachnids > Ghost

I mean I havent found anything unwatchable, I put those two low because they had the most things that made me go "wait that's not right" the most by far, I even actually enjoyed Ghost Monument and a lot of Tsuranga. Its just by the end I acknowledge how much I have to ignore to get there.

TWWFTE generally made sense and I didnt even mind the pacing, I dont think I had any major issues with it outside the rushed death desu

Now Im curious which parts of Tsuranga are Chibnall's outside the part where the Doctor wastes time to teach kids about the hadron collider.

I thought it was really boring. Other episodes were less competently made but at least they didn't put me to sleep.

Great Game

Sign of Three

(very vague on the last few because I've pretty much never rewatched them)

Might as well say S11 is the best series of Doctor Who.

Series 3 was great, especially the wedding episode. Series 4 was total moffatshit though, 100% jumped the shark.

I like slow dramas, absolutely. Problem with TWWFTE is that it doesn't justify it's extended runtime, barely anything happens. And pacing aside, the concept of the Stenza is hardly riveting. I don't see why Arachnids in the U.K couldn't have been the first episode.

This is a strange one, because I would definitely fit into the non-fiction, STEM, systems thinking part, and I've been accused of not having very good empathy (and honestly I can be kind of selfish and insensitive sometimes)….. And I'm a massive massive lefty. So it definitely reads as bullshit to me. Plus, anyone I know who works in a scientific area tends to lean left as well. (could just be the company I keep, idk)

Woman was chibnall trying to replicate the Deep Breath formula - a slower paced, "cinamatic" episode that doesn't reflect the tone of the rest of the series

is it possible to run a bot on 8ch? because I have an idea…

dude the current ideology of way too many right wingers today is "anything anti-left" almost to the point of making themselves look like dumbasses. An alarming number of people openly admit they'd be fine if trump cheated to win simply because he isnt a dem

they dont have to any more, they have people who are pretty much him but not 70 years old to like instead

provide one example of a society founded on empathy that has worked out

kill the homeless

Series 2 of Sherlock

Season 1 of Elementary

Series 3 of Sherlock

>he really thinks a society can function when everyone is individualistic

literally modern western society, we don't have gladiators any more, we've gotten rid of slavery…

we live in a society

This was hilarious until the very last line and now I think it's fake. This is only funny if the guy is being serious.

Western society wasn't founded on empathy, many of the core tenets of how society works are non-empathetic. People acting out of empathy is the exception, not the foundation.

Oh, I didn't read the whole thing, kek

Blame leftie journalists who will literally print any amount of raw hatred to get their little dopamine spikes.

the foundation of society was fucking numbskull caveman retards beating each other with sticks, doesn't mean their values should hold any weight

I mean Ive only seen one episode of each show so I cant be the judge. Though I did prefer Elementary more because I really like the procedural genre. An I know the last half of Sherlock is polarising at best

/who/ is a left-wing board, deal with it cletus

reminder not to continue arguments into new threads

yeah you're right, that's why social programs simply don't exist. I've never heard of benefits before. Also when exactly was western society in it's current state founded? It's more a mixture of things over time. Producing a society that has decided that child labour, murder, slavery etc are bad

>Not rating Series 1 of Sherlock

bold and uncommon opinion, I like it
