When I was a kid, I remember watching a spiderman cartoon right around the year 2000

I don't remember much of the details but it was kind of dark and gritty and set on alternate earth or some shit (the first episode has spiderman going to that planet on a rocket ship and venom tags along)

The finale episode ends on a cliffhanger where the bad guys win and enact their plan. A second season was never commissioned, so the show ends like that.

shit spooked me as a kid but I also kind of liked it and it's probably what made me like bad ends

Sexuality labels were created in a time period where the sex/gender distinction did not exist. They no longer fit modern definitions so ambiguities exist. The only way to confront these ambiguities is to discuss the fact that transgender people are inherently not cisgender and do not fit into sexuality definitions designed for them. traditional sexuality labels were designed for cis people. Trans people don't fit in their definitions of male and female. This is an objective fact of when the terms were created and popularised. You cannot fault men who identify as straight for not being open to a relationship with a mtf, and you cannot fault a man who identifies as gay for not being open to a relationship with a ftm. This is not transphobic, it's the fundamental reality of how attraction and sexuality work and how trans people are outside of it, no matter how much they wish things weren't like that.

A common misconception! You see, the protagonist's name is Yuri Katsuki. In a comedic twist, his rival's name is also Yuri - Yuri Plisetsky (though he is called by his nickname "yurio" to avoid confusion in the anime). As you can now probably see, the "Yuri" in "Yuri!!! on ICE" is actually referring to the protagonist-rival pair of Yuris (remember that in japanese there is no distinction between plural and singular), and not a homosexual relationship between two females.

I hope this has been of help~~! :3

>Do you mean "draft"?

No, I mean the sum total of all the notes you make to help you write the story. I'm not saying it's common for the plan to be longer, but say you were writing a short story and you wanted to profile each of your characters in detail to help you write them, or if it was SF/F themed maybe you'd want to map out the lore of the world it was set in. Or if it was a verse poem, maybe you'd write out the plot in prose notes first which would end up having a higher word count. I'm just saying it's perfectly possible and not really a problem.

Thanks, Other.

For a longer answer, Edge is the first story where it's hinted that the TARDIS is more than a simple machine. Nt just that–the TARDIS is seen as a machine with a thinking process that makes no sense to the passengers. You can see that as simple silliness, or you can see that as proof that the TARDIS's mind is so alien that it can only communicate through symbols. Moreover, this alien lifeform can literally change the mood, thoughts, and actions of its passengers! There's a direct line between this ep and any other "TARDIS is sentient" or "TARDIS psychically translates" plotline is future media, though this episode is one of the few that make it creepy.

On top of that, all the performances are unsettling. The tensions of the crew are put on high, leading them to do murderous actions. (And not too long ago, the Doctor was willing to bash a man's head in, so the danger feels realer.) The fact that this happenned so early in Who's history, and the fact that it's so well done, makes it a great ep.

And, on top of that, the episode is a progrtession of the relationship of the passengers. Despite the stress, the TARDIS team come out of the experience much stronger as a group, especially the Doctor and Barbara. It's just a wonderful ep.

(I think this ep may also be one of the first with a "Doctor marvels at the wonders of the universe" speech, though I could be incorrect about that.)

Different things go for different people. Also, despite my praise, it's also a minimalistic episode where Carole Ann Ford hammily runs around with a scissors like a crazed toddler, and Barbara screams at the horror of…a melting clock. I can see why it wouldn't work for everybody.
