That's what I was going to say, but I'll go with the Brig instead.

The whole thing with him and 3 is just great. It's like they're friends but 3 was also like "I don't need to listen to your shit even if you are sort of my boss."

there is really only one choice.
You can't think of the second doctor without thinking of jamie.
I loved their back and forth dialog. I don't know if it was "improv" but it felt like it when watching.

The doctor always has a cute young contemporary female companion but his best one is some scottish guy from mid 18th century.

I really liked his relationship with the doctor. they seemed like real bros

Shapeshifter.
Streetwise and skilled.
Was an alien so he took most things in stride and had working knowledge on most aliens and tech.
Him and Six were fucking bros.
Started out in comics, was put in a novel and 2 big finish audios.
Companion to 6 and 7(altho his 7 comic didn't really fit in continuity) meet 8 and helped 10 save all the Doctors.

I wonder how hard it would be to have a penguin companion on the show? I'd guess it would expensive (it would have to be mainly cgi…can't really train a penguin)
