I didn't mind the forest episode.
Yeah the magic talking fireflies and the ending was retarded but I really enjoyed the interaction between the Doc and the kids.

Why this place died (again)
1. A mod unfairly banning someone early on who then posted a screencap on /who/. This discouraged a lot of people from coming over
2. A few days after the second exodus 8chan was down for a period of several hours. Most people went back to /who/ and seem to have gotten comfy and/or decided that 8chan is too glitchy for their liking. This was truly the end of /doctorwho/ as we never regained levels of traffic comparable to /who/
3. People's inherent stubbornness and unwillingness to come here in the first place even for clearly superior features.

>"It's the finale! I wanted to do something really simple and stark for this, which was absolutely in no way dictated by stringent embargoes and a lack of advance plot info," Stuart told RadioTimes.com.
>"I love Rorschach-style inkblots, not least because they look like 1960s Doctor Who title sequences, and they dovetail nicely with the symmetrical shapes of the Cybermen.
>"It only occurred to me afterwards that the whole image is loosely influenced by Daniel Kleinman's amazing title sequence for Skyfall – if you're going to steal, steal from the best. I expect it's how the opening titles to the new exciting spin-off series Missy Master will look…"

I just finished Terror Firma. IT was kinda like a Batman vs Joker story with Davros trying to break the Doctor. Pretty great twist in it. Unfortunatly it has a little too much of a "Eh, fuck it" ending with

>>4943It started off fine.
But most of the episode was focused on Danny and Clara. Missy barely go to do anything. And the ending was shit. The best scene was the doctor hitting the Tardis when he found out she lied about Gallifrey.
No.4945
I've mostly liked this Series but I want Moffat to go. His time is done. Capaldi is being wasted.
No.4946
>>4944I agree with the over focus on Clara especially when it was mainly them standing in front of each other saying the same shit over and over
Missy shined in most of her scenes but was so out of focus
Killing Osgood was a legit shock and I LOVED the brig at the end (tho I understand that it might piss people off) plus that really was the best part
Ultimately it was one of my bigger problems with Who, Nuwho finales in particular. They build up a massive threat and then the Doctor and co kinda step beside the threat and basically push a massive button to solve everything (I know it was more complicated than gthat up still)

Finale was an episode with a ton of great elements and scenes that just didn't seem to work together well to tell a coherent story.

Alright, let's get some discussion going:
Which Doctor would you most like to see played by another actor to have played the Doctor, and who?
I'd like to see Colin Baker (as he was in the Eighties) playing the Twelfth Doctor now - see how he'd do in a show that wasn't being run into the ground (as much.)
