The Pie Lord Audio is here: https://clyp.it/sskvebzc

We kept the audios despite the naysayers. And here it is. Hopefully, we'll have more later on.

Thanks to the people who provided voices (particularly Ace) , and the (insane) anons who added to the initial script. Also, thanks to the anon who let me use his theme, and the one who made the cover. Great job, /doctorwho/ (and /who/). We did very well.

PS; Where the heck is Dream Audio Anon?

So I just rewatched Kill the Moon for the first time since it went out, and I actually really enjoyed it.

I went in remembering it having been shit, and it really wasn't.

The hype train seriously fucked that for us the first time round, and then the negative stuff from live threads that usually washes off just stuck with the thing because people were so disappointed.
It could never have been what we wanted, but all the retarded shit is just silly. Since when has the science affected everyone so much?
I saw people bashing this who love the Shakespeare Code and the End of Time with literal potions.

I think we all need to give this thing another look

I'd say most people agree that The War Games is one of the best Doctor Who stories of all time. It may be long, but it's paced really well and never feels like it's slowing down or getting repetitive like some longer serials so. You should definitely give it a shot, if you can watch Dalek Invasion in one go you'll have no problem with this.

The whole thing was a dream sequence. 12 used the patches to make Courtney live out her dream of being special. He felt guilty about saying she wasn't important but he's no idiot and wouldn't risk her life to clear his consciences. Since she isn't very book smart, we see things in the dream that don't exactly make sense like multi-cellular single cell organisms, matter from nothing, an infant laying an egg and of course Mexican moon bases.

But if the choice didn't really matter then she couldn't be as mad about being forced to make it. She would still be mad about not being told it wasn't real but she was already threatening to leave the Doctor forever so what did he have to lose? He would have come clean.

 No.6971

>>6970
>But if the choice didn't really matter then she couldn't be as mad about being forced to make it.
If it wasn't a dream the choice still wouldn't have mattered because as he said "I knew you would make the right choice." She didn't really have a decision to make because there was only one thing she would do in that situation. And if you don't buy that, 12 might not want to reveal his dream patches to her in case he might need to use them on her someday.

 No.6972

>>6971
>She didn't really have a decision to make because there was only one thing she would do in that situation
Do you really want to argue obscure questions about free will instead of just admitting that the moon is an egg and it's 100% canon?

Why is she so based?

 No.6975

So here's something that really bugs me, minor Timewyrm: Exodus spoilers and serious autism ahead. In the climax of Timewyrm: Exodus there's a scene where Ace loses her jacket and it gets destroyed. Then the proceeds to treat this as not big deal. When they get back to the TARDIS it just says "Now back in a spare outfit of her usual street gear - jeans, boots, tee shirt, bomber jacket - Ace felt she was herself again." Future VNA covers show her jacket looking exactly the same. So she just had a spare jacket with all the same patches and everything? Even the ones that were souvenirs from her and the Doctor's adventures? Bull fucking shit. That jacket was one of a kind and now it's gone but the novel refuses to acknowledge it. BRAVO TERRANCE.

Well arguing obscure questions is more fun. Also of course the moon egg is canon, however the fun part of having a show like this is constructing your own theories and head canon.

By the way, moon egg dream isn't in my head canon, I just like saying it for talk purposes.

Both qualities of a Who companion. Also when she says she works in a shop does she mean a store or a car garage? If she is a mechanic a companion with that background could be interesting.

Also ditzy isn't bad. Plus the way 12 insulted Clara pairing him with someone who is a complete idiot would be glorious.
