Are you looking forward to it, or are you dreading it? Why?

 No.8068

Looking forward. I don't see why not, the Zygons were pretty good in DOTD.

 No.8070

Reminder to get hype for The Zygon Invasion

>people on GB are saying it's VNA level dark

>eviscerated corpses

>loch ness monster like creatures

>12 gives Clara the "shock of her life"

>'Is the man she trusted so long really a hero after all? Is he even her friend?'

>"This might be where you can argue that the new approach is, for the first time, seen uncluttered by any of the old approach."

>terrible dilemma

>Moffat said that the ending scene in the tardis is his favourite scene in the Series

>Moffat said in DWM that Harness(writer of episode) was going to stick around 'for a long time, I promise you' implying that the script is GOAT

>tumblr insult in episode

That was an oldskool cliffhanger if ever I saw one in Nu Who

 No.8072

I really enjoyed that episode. Even if the social commentary was a litte bit thick and cringeworthy in places.

 No.8073

Oh god, that was the worst episode we've had for a while.

Hopefully next week will retroactively improve it, but I don't trust Harness at this point.

This

>>8072

but also this.

I'm looking forward to the conclusion, but trying not to get my hopes up. The whole "there's shitheads of all races, the zygons dindu nuffin!" produced lots of secondhand embarrassment. The Zygon Who Fell to Earth was more believable than Osgood's clone suddenly being so pro-Earth after DotD, and legitimately heartbreaking too. I'm hoping Osgood dies and stays dead, and the zygons are promptly deported if not exterminated.

 No.8075

Summary:

Leftist "writer" makes shitty awkward immigration sermon, completely forgets to write Doctor Who episode.

Bonus points:

- Clara is important, dammit! Not enough to go pick her up, but to spam her phone…

- Stronk womyn, yeaaaaaah! Elite troops are ebil men, so they're stupid and totally die!

- Obvious Zygons are obvious.

- Continuing the proud tradition of Doctor-lite episodes sucking hard.

But is it pro immigration, or anti immigration? If it's pro, as you'd expect from the BBC, they're doing a really shitty job of it.

>yes, the immigrants are monsters who will kill you, but be nice to them anyway because…

 No.8077

>>8076

s, the immigrants are monsters who will kill you, but be nice to them anyway because…

And that's different from the actual British immigration problem how?

 No.8078

>>8077

GG for tired copypasta fail.

 No.8080

>>8077

It's not, and it's strange to see the BBC acknowledge this.

 No.8083

it was aiight

i like the more fun episodes like the previous ones

 No.8085

That last episode felt like Mark Gatiss taking a bunch of half developed ideas he's had over the years and haphazardly throwing them together.

 No.8086

>>8085

So a typical Gatiss episode?

 No.8088

>>8086

Even for a Gatiss episode though.
