That was an oldskool cliffhanger if ever I saw one in Nu Who

I really enjoyed that episode. Even if the social commentary was a litte bit thick and cringeworthy in places.

Oh god, that was the worst episode we've had for a while.

Hopefully next week will retroactively improve it, but I don't trust Harness at this point.

I'm looking forward to the conclusion, but trying not to get my hopes up. The whole "there's shitheads of all races, the zygons dindu nuffin!" produced lots of secondhand embarrassment. The Zygon Who Fell to Earth was more believable than Osgood's clone suddenly being so pro-Earth after DotD, and legitimately heartbreaking too. I'm hoping Osgood dies and stays dead, and the zygons are promptly deported if not exterminated.

Summary:

Leftist "writer" makes shitty awkward immigration sermon, completely forgets to write Doctor Who episode.

Bonus points:

- Clara is important, dammit! Not enough to go pick her up, but to spam her phone…

- Stronk womyn, yeaaaaaah! Elite troops are ebil men, so they're stupid and totally die!

- Obvious Zygons are obvious.
