The door opens and drops you off in a truly fantastic landscape. Above, a large yellow sun hangs in the sky, though it doesn't feel like it is heating up the air at all. Down, near the end of the horizon hangs a smaller blue one, where it is just carrying on that last bright light before it hits the horizon.
Your immediate surroundings are thus, a small building behind you that obviously isn't the bar, but rather just the door, behind that is a huge (inland) sea, glittering even bluer than normal water because of the sun.
In front of you there is some kind of fantastic forest, comprised mainly of pines, but with tiny crystal slivers in place of pine needles. Above and far there are spires of some kind of glittering city.

"It was formed about half a century ago, by the first Yagers--the first demon-hunters.
"They had found doors, appearing out of nowhere, leading to what could only be described as Hell. Strange, twisted realities, all centering on individual people and their fears."
She takes another sip of her water, closing her eyes.
"There were many deaths. At least one of the doors opened inside an orphanage. Others opened in public places. It's not known how long these doors had been opening before this group found them.
"What is known is that, following an event that nearly destroyed a major city--my home--they realized that they couldn't fight every single door.
"So they created a place to train people in the art of fighting these things. To study the demons, understand what made them tick."

She looks around, and her eyes settle on Percival in the other bed.
Her eyes lock on the one person in the room she doesn't know, and the temperature of the room rises a few degrees. Her finger flicks through the air, and words of flame appear in the air in front of her:

"Calm down, Broken one. He'll wake up when he wants to. As it stands, he'll have his mind and soul nourished. You are in the heart of power for the Rothran Guard, and I am the Guard Captain. Vasnesh and the newly awakened Shudleng are right behind the rest, walking briskly.
The roads split off in each direction, going as far as your eyes can see. Certain buildings are topped with huge crystals, and you are sure you can hear water, like something a fountain would make somewhere nearby.
The people around you are about 70% human with reptilian traits and the other 30% are just regular humans. Very rarely you might catch something exotic like an elf or a dwarf, or maybe something weirder. Vasnesh considers his whispering. "Mindbenders are called that for a reason. They could do anything to her you'd want. She is sick after all. You mentioned something scary earlier, if we talked about that, I'm sure they could even change that too. They keep horrific beings in the magnificent Crystal Menagerie known the world over."
Cayenne will catch some light aftereffects, like the scent and phantom feelings of what she saw before they fade. The cobblestones are rather nice, though. All the same size and kept flat and level.

There are two people at the desk. A blue man, normal in all ways except the light blue hue of his skin, and a woman that looks completely normal. The woman speaks first. "Welcome! How can we help you!"

Cayenne is getting some weird looks from the people they are passing, and Shudleng moves in next to her. "Did you look at the Dome?" she asks gently so the others can't hear over Vasnesh's loud speaking.

Shudleng nods. "I figured as much. That's the reaction most people have to it. Being confronted with your greatest desire is key to the Rothran way of life. The discipline to work towards it without taking it is what all of them strive for."

I figured it'd be much easier if Riley heard the pitch from you than me. And guess what." He shoots a look at Riley. "Because of her fiery temper, I was right, wasn't I?"
Shudleng shakes her head. "You don't have to. I just wanted to let you know that just because they are your deepest desires, that doesn't mean you have to be ashamed or hide it away. In that way, I'd certainly like to hear it. Yes." She then nods.

As the others take off to various parts of the city, William opens a small canister on his belt and takes out a few metal components and what appears to be a long metal cable. Flipping a few switches on his gauntlet, the metal prongs and an emitter pop out, only to be replaced by the cables and metal components. After a few moments, he stows the tesla cannon parts and looks up at one of the high towers that overlook the city. Spotting an outcropping, he aims his gauntlet at the surface of the tower and fires a long metal cable attached to a small harpoon. Upon making contact, his gauntlet reels him in and soon he is sitting on a perch high above the city streets.
His eyepatch whirrs as the widest lens moves into position, informing him of the location of his companions, before he draws his sword and busies himself with cleaning and maintenence.
>William doesn't really need anything from here, so he's just gonna chill. If things happen, he can support the party. William's gauntlet beeps a few times, and he opens the holographic map. Among the thousands of grey blips moving through the streets of the city, a single red dot is flashing through the streets at extremely high speeds.
"Probably one of the kids' friends" William thinks as he observes. Looking up from the map and switching the lenses on his eyepatch, he zooms in on the road leading to the city square. For a brief moment he sees a figure dash past, and tries to reaquire his target.
"Wait. Riley & the others don't seem to have a concept of subtlety. This idiot could get the guards on us again!" He thinks urgently as he leaps to his feet.
Thinking quickly, he removes the grappling line from his gauntlet and replaces it with a series of small rotating manacores. Each spinning sphere orbiting the gauntlet and each other in complex patterns. The aperture on the front of the gauntlet opens wide and William places a full size manacore in it. Using his eyepatch, he zooms in on the plaza in front of the running man, ans his eye begins to shine an electric green. The glow starts with his iris, but soon spreads until the entirety of his eye is shining. Meanwhile the gauntlet manacores whine as all of them spin at dangerous speeds while the orbiting balls fly ever faster. Electricity crackles around his outstretched arm, soon spreading to the rest of his body, while his coat and hair begin whipping about as if caught in a strong breeze. In the plaza, a clearing in the crowd begins to shimmer and crackle, smelling like the ground before a thunderstorm. In an instant it's passed, and there is a sound like a bolt of lightning striking the ground. A brilliant flash of light, and the smell of ozone fills the senses of those nearby. And there stands William, panting, but otherwise normal in his appearance. Directly in front of him is the sound of heavy footfalls, and a rapidly approaching figure.
Taking a moment to remove and store the extra manacores and to fix his hair a tad, so it only looks unruly, not like he'd just left bed, he plants himself directly in front of the running man. The crowd which had stopped it's activity when this man seemingly appeared in a bolt of lightning, holds its breath as a collision seems imminent.

Even in the darker corners, his fears show the trust he places in his own strength--even as he wonders what his judgement is truly leading him toward.
Cayenne, on the other hand, is filled with doubts: doubt in her decisions, in her dreams.
I do not want to hurt.

Why is it a part of life?
She tries to strengthen her barriers, pouring thought into them--thoughts of how much it hurt to know that Percival's sister wanted to keep her brother to herself, thoughts of how much more attached Percy is to Riley.
Why should I hurt? I am powerful. I am intelligent. I can shape reality with a mere thought. With this magic, this mind, this body, why do I hurt?

She takes the thoughts and removes them from the barrier, thought by thought. Like one would remove bricks from a wall. In her hands they become distractions and float away.
It's a part of life because without the ability to struggle on in the face of it, we wouldn't be better than animals.
She fills her mind with images of Rothra. Rothra being built. The raising of crystals into the sky. Of fantastic feats of the supernatural.
It is much the same here. You hurt because only the living hurt. If you are hurting, you are alive. Struggling against pain only makes it worse. You must accept it.
She takes one of the thoughts about Percy and Riley.
She's his twin. Of course he'll always be attached to her. But that doesn't mean he can't grow attached to you as well. Anger is a need to gain control. Fear is what you feel when faced with that lack of control. If you can give up the control, the anger and fear will go too. The hurt will always remain, but you will handle it better than this.

"Yes."
Cayenne steps out of the therapy room, yawning.
Hey, they both look like they slept in front of the AC.
And...hey, Hal's over by the door. What is with these three and horrible morning hair?

Vas is dealing with family issues. Long story short, Losi is not amused, that is her house, we all can go back to the bar.

Lotl'ssthicyt comes walking out of her room next door to where Riley was supposed be sleeping. She's got some weird version of crystal head dress and sheer gown on. She looks very annoyed and irritated. Like she got very little sleep. She concentrates very hard and all the crystals on her headress flash.
This is a place for mental healing. Not sexual healing. You all will go home. Take the two shapeshifting spiders downstairs with you. Go back to your bar.
She has a look that brooks no argument and Percy feels a silly amount of disappointment radiating off her. Like he can almost hear her mentally saying "You should know better."

"Smooth." William chuckles as he stands and stretches.
"So how do we even get back? Can we just take any door?" He asks as he presses some switches on his gauntlet.

"I have a mark set at the door we need to get to," Percy says, after taking a moment to regain what little composure he has left. "We'll all need to be in contact to teleport--NOT LIKE THAT, but holding hands will do."
"Clever. I should have thought of it," Cayenne says, as she takes his hand.
Hal, meanwhile, is just chuckling to himself in the corner.

Shudleng and Vasnesh are giggling from the ceiling. Shudleng looks like a gigantic black widow spider, down to the markings on her stomach. She's tittering in a particularly coquettish way at the scene.
"Oh, Cayenne. I told you. You didn't think it would work, but I told you."
Vasnesh lowers himself on a narrow strand of silk and Shudleng follows, dropping down onto the floor and becoming the elven woman you all know, though she looks oddly somehow more spider-ish. It might just be the way her eyes are more black than normal, or perhaps the way her fingers seem to curl in on themselves like a dead spider. Who knows?

"Well, let's wrap up."
Hal offers a hand to William and Shudleng, Percy takes Riley's hand, and an emerald glow begins to fill the room.
"You'll feel a slight tug," Percy says, "and it'll feel like a direction you've never heard of. Don't worry, that's normal."

"Right. Here we go...!"
With everyone holding on, the glow fades to a sort of light jade color.
In front of you, the light forms a pinprick of white.
You're yanked in a direction that shouldn't exist.
And...you find yourselves standing at the door to the Bar, which is currently hanging just an inch off the sand, facing inland.
"Everyone arrived okay, correct?"

Vasnesh, for his part is studying Percy's face closely, like he's trying to memorize it.

He turns, pushes the door open, and walks through.
Cayenne raises an eyebrow, and drags Hal through the door.
