Meta's pretty fucking boring but you don't have to play by the meta. Telepushing isn't hard (any hero will do it with TP boots, and with TP boot 2 you can even engage in super gank faggotry by TPing on an ally whenever he's in trouble or jumping someone) and you can still gank aggressively to keep the enemy down or snowball. A lot of players seem to be big believers in being AWOL ricing for that 30 minute super good carry, so when you keep them down, their lategame basically never arrives and their team self-destructs. An important part of ganking is ward vision though. Don't be afraid to shell 75 from time to time for a good ganking ward (unlike the turbo-defensive wards a lot of supports will drop) if you need to.

And in CM I've easily won games by creating all-initiator lineups where the average battle results in a never-ending stream of stuns, ultimates, and aoes until the enemy is dead. You don't have to play a core team. Learn to experiment and have some fun with the possibilities out there. Then again I'm also one of the players who is bored by normal meta, so I fuck around a lot.

I tried it and won quite a few matches. I just go MoM+Orchid and beat the shit out of people. But the thing about Orchid is that it picks up in value against fuckers with escape abilities or if you really feel like your team needs more silences. Know your enemy, and all that. I also tend to get Orb of Venom (sell when it's outlived its purpose) for super early chasing kills.

Yeah, no shit. I didn't buy it to try to be a meme lord, I bought it in a desperate attempt to win 1v9 against a QoP and BH. I still regret it because DK became way too tanky to kill, but the game was over before it started. Our Void decided not to farm and would just chrono and run away from every fight.

Right, sorry about that. Anyway, you don't really need Orchid to take out BH. Dust will do the trick, so the Orchid was really strictly an item for ganking QoP and disabling KotL.

I think Solar Crest would've been more useful against their DK. And of course, you can use the Silver Edge to neuter him something fierce when his BKB is off. -40% damage output (also lifesteal loss) and -12 armor by removing his Dragon's Blood with the break. I guess you already tried that, though?

The best way to win lane is to pick a hero who does it well. As far as mids go, Viper is probably the biggest mid winner. He shits on pretty much any other mid off the top of my head.

When I have to CS I always CS too safely and just sort of stand in XP range afraid.

I'm not even defending Valve though and I disagree with the trading so I don't purchase items or compendiums (Wow! It's almost like money talks!). I just think it's pretty silly to bitch and moan about it on a website and a board that no one comes on as if it's going to do something. I'm pretty sure Valve even acknowledge that a good chunk of people left the game even after the recent patch because of Reborn alone. I understand how shitty it is to wait for them to fix crap that is beyond broken in the game (healing salves on towers for an instance), but I'm just use to the way they deal with this since I use to play since the start of the original beta which was pretty awful at the time as well. All you can do is wait it out, bitching about it on here won't do much for you.
