I'm thinking of buying MMR, I can't seem to escape low MMR, I usually am the one getting high streaks in my team but I have bad luck and my teammates are usually feeding 15 and getting 5 kills.
No.1507
>>1504You are in that MMR because you belong there when you buy MMR you will literally lose most of your games, unless you get carried, until you get back to your current MMR. Not only that, you'll be making the games worse for people who are in the higher level MMR games because then you'll be pulling them down.
Honestly, just make a smurf and try to re-calibrate your MMR or just try to climb the long tedious ladder like the rest of us. Eventually you'll get better.

>>1507>>1504Or you could just not care about MMR.
Seriously people care waaaaaaay too much. Wventually, as you improve your general gameplay, you will start to improve your MMR until you balance out. The MMR system works, and it works well, people who complain about it are just looking for an object to blame for their lack of improvement.

Not OP, but I've found proof that MMR hell exists.
Over the last 3 months, my KDA, gold per minute, XP per minute, last hits per minute, and denies per minute have all improved, but my winrate shows the opposite.
The less I feed, the more I lose. There's no such thing as getting out of the trench, because the better I get, the worse my teammates are. I've stopped caring about MMR, but I'm going to start using this whenever some nigger says that I deserve to be in this bracket.

>>1543I tried syncronizing dotabuff to my profile and my KDA to winrate is directly proportional. Although my KDA would probably be underrated because I use support most of the time.

>>1508What I do in Ranked is just play Techies.
I've learned is that players in 2.5k MMR really don't know how to deal with a somewhat decent Techies player. Now I remember why I stopped playing Ranked.

Yeah MMR is such a huge timesink for most games being an absolute crapshoot.
Pick a core or run of chance of losing if you don't.
No.1607
>>1576It's funny because I've started using supports more than ever in the last three months, yet my KDA keeps going up.

>>1508>Or you could just not care about MMR. High MMR = high skilled games
Seriously when you're in the bracket where a random fucking player opted for high skill 3K starting MMR and is sliding his way down to 600 (I've seen this happen) you will start to go fucking nuts putting up with these people.
No.1767
>>1606recently i decided to start picking supports in all my ranked games where i can
my mmr has gone up from 3800 to 4600
if you're good you can win games on any hero, just a matter of picking the right one
No.1768
I just abandon now, whenever my team does dumbass shit. Like send 2 supports to babysit my offlane broodmother. Or go Phase Boots mid Void vs Death Prophet.
Low priority games are a fucking riot.
No.1773
>>1543It's also possible that you started farming harder and aren't chipping in on ganks and teamfights as you should and thus letting teammates die because you're going for the mid to lategame. Low MMR games are won by crushing the early game with asshole ganks and snowballing out of control.
>>1767You can't pick supports in low MMR unless you're semi-carrying. When you super support a shit player, he's still shit and you still lose.
