>>1720If you get a snowball on kills in the early game, pick up midas instead of whatever support item you were going to get. That gives you the money for observers whenever the purchase is on cooldown.
Depends on which support you pick, but if you're going something like Witch Doctor or Lina, then find someone else on your team who is willing to engage the enemy team.
Oh and when you get wards, place them at times relevant to your game. Around midgame, I like to place one at the cross in the pathway in the Radiant jungle. It's below the hard camp more to the right of the map. You'll know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, appropriate warding can lead to further engagements with solo enemies (can being the key term there). You can pick up a bit of assist gold and be gucci.
Some supports can easily farm the jungle without the rest of the team flaming them. Tidehunter is a pretty prime example of this, but you're usually getting other stuff than wards. Maiden sorta can if she gets the AoE thing. I forget what it's called, haven't played her in a while.
Or you could take the asshole jakiro route and stack a hard camp ten times, then using your ult to farm it all. ez reports, ez lyfe.
But I find the best way to have a decent gold income is to just have a team that sticks somewhat together outside of farming phase. Even if you don't go past 300 gpm, your xpm should make up for it.
