What's with all of these ridiculous comebacks that've been happening recently? This bullshit has been happening every game recently and is starting to piss me off. I also don't seem to get matched with Russians… ever… as of recent.

the comeback mechanic is in place to punish teams that play the objective. You get horrendously tiny amounts of gold for kills, to the point where it is significantly more rewarding to farm.
Killing a hero on a streak, however, grants jew levels of gold, and high level heroes have much longer respawn timers. This means that if you are losing the game, you will win the game.

Retarded indeed but this is the case. Icefraud gives the reward advantage to the team playing badly, so that a single mistake can launch the winning team into a cycle of decline.
