I'm a bit miffed about some of the changes they enacted such as hex no longer negating evasion, but overall I like this new update.

weaver is not op, he was barely changed. swarm was buffed because it was a weak spell on a hero with shit attributes. other than that he was barely changed except the aghs, which is still far from being too strong (need to buy an aghs on weaver, really not very good)

morph wasn't even buffed. the adaptive strike change is actually a nerf. Hybrid isn't that good 90% of the time. The only time I can really see it being terribly good is with a terrorblade, as an offlane morph, but still you have to farm a fucking aghs on that hero.

Heroes that MAY have actually been overbuffed:

Brood's bite not being a UAM might be problematic

Clinkz has gotten a lot of good buffs lately, so we'll see. I'm not sure he's actually TOO strong.

Enchantress is gonna be strong. Especially given some of the new item changes. But I can't predict all of the interactions with those yet.

Kunkka… has been buffed a lot lately. But he's still so high skill ceiling and difficult to execute that I don't think he'll be too problematic.

Leshrac. Octarine Core.

Oracle is now a different kind of threat. Before he could make somebody slark under ult, now they're slark under a constant dark pact. cd was increased though so maybe it won't be too awful.

Sniper changes are alright. I was hoping for some different changes, make him worse through the midgame, but he's certainly less good now.

Storm nerfs. REDDITTTTTTTTTT. I'm actually happy about the changes. He's still the same hero, just "slightly not as good at things that don't matter"

Techies. I actually think these changes might be too much. Especially with that minefield sign change. Going uphill into that hero is going to be RETARDED.

Troll. Wasn't actually nerfed as much as/in the ways I think he needed. Melee form is still stupidly powerful, the items that made him good weren't changed, but other things were added and changed, so we'll see. But I still think he is probably too good. At least they removed the vision.

Wyvern nerfs to get her in CM. She's overall just the same though. I'm excited to see her in the coming officials.

I'm not sure. he'd need to have a lot of free quill activations on a lot of units. The soul booster would be pretty good but that hero would still need armor. It would have to be a later item and after something like blademail or at least a medallion. The new medallion upgrade could be really good on him though.

break probably should disable backtrack, in my opinion. It doesn't disable either of void's passives. Weird. It disables slardar's bash. Even counter helix, which wasn't disabled by 6.83c by an aghs doom, is disabled by the new break mechanic. They might have forgotten to list it or to implement it, I hope that gets changed.

i think you're right, you'd have the morphling's agi as faceless void.

The point remains, though, that you wouldn't have much in the way of stats/damage

even if you morph full agi you wouldn't have any hp, and you still wouldn't have any real damage

Here's what I've been able to figure out so far, regarding the new items

>Lotus Orb

Reflects EVERY target spell, but ONLY target spells. Will not reflect point target spells like Pudge's Meat Hook. Causes some glitches with Rubick's Spell Steal. I'm not sure if Lotus reflects item effects, because I can't figure out how to completely control bots.

>Moon Shard

Once used, disappears from inventory. Active can only be used once, but there is no limit to the number of Moon Shards a player can own. The bonus night vision from each Moon Shard stacks.

>Octarine Core

Lifesteals damage from spells of all types (physical, magical, or pure). Spells that use separate units to deal damage, like Witch Doctor's Death Ward and Techie's Mines will not lifesteal, but damage from Dagon WILL lifesteal. Lifesteal from multiple Octarine Cores stacks, but the cooldown reduction does not. Not a unique attack modifier. Cooldown reduction also affects items.

It seems jungle and lane farming heroes have overall been nerfed with the bounty being reduced on neutrals and lane creeps. Mud golems are still going to piss me off.

I haven't run the numbers, but I also feel like solo pick off heroes are going to be picked a lot more with the exp gain being changed.

Enchantress got a nice buff, and I'm wondering how she's going to play into the meta.

Probably one of the best upgrades that was out in is Ostarion's, if you can heal the wraiths into not dying.

Lone druid may have gotten an aghs upgrade but I don't consider it huge because again, jungle farming heroes were nerfed with these reduced bounties.

Wisp got a bit easier I guess.

Then there's that core thing that gives spell life steal. Does anyone know if it works with OD and Norstrom ability orbs?

I honestly wouldn't worry too much about that. Only a few jngle creeps (mostly ancients, which most junglers can't even kill in the laning stage) have had their gold nerfed, while both melee and ranged lane creeps had theirs nerfed. You should still be able to make more gold than a carry in lane.

Yeah, I say that because Arcane Orb counts as a spell for Essence Aura, while other autocast abilities don't, which is the only difference between them. It's possible that the same exception was made for Octarine as well. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I've been shitting all over Sniper pickers ever since 6.84 came out. They're wondering why they're not winning anymore and don't know what to do since they can't use any other heroes.

Sniper is weaker not just because he was nerfed, but because almost everyone else was buffed. There's plenty of extra room for item choices now, so deciding what you buy has greater impact on the game.
