Boots bottle aghs sb/gc for escape if needed, deso or mael based on pref, I like deso for sustained damage, skip euls cause bottle gives good regen and if you git gud at LSA you dont need Cyclone, Laguna is a gauranteed kill every time it is off CD, gank often, aghs is not a late game, get that shit asap, LSA is VERY good at saving bad teammates or yourself from death, phase is good for escaping, can switch for BOT later, aghs aghs aghs, dont pick Lina if they have Centaur Void or Riki since your shit team wont ever buy wards until those heroes are already fed. I won't argue against Deso and Maelstrom, but Lina is THE best Eul's holder in the game. It gives her everything she needs: intelligence, movement speed, a long-range disable, an escape, and a shitload of mana regen. The long cast range is perfect for catching up to a fleeing enemy or taking a troublesome hero out of a fight until your team is ready to deal with them.

Because magic resistance is percentage-based, Agh's pays off better when you have Laguna Blade at high levels. Without and with Aghs, against 25% magic resistance…

Unless you're playing against Huskar, Lifestealer, or Omniknight, I would wait until you're almost level 16 to finish your aghs. Even against these heroes, a Eul's can be more effective early on. I've tried rushing Aghs, getting it in 15 minutes, and waiting to get another core item first, and the latter has always been more effective.
Phase boots are good, but if my teammates don't have anything to help me keep my mana pool full, I'll buy arcanes, since they can benefit from them as well. Le balanced time wizard shits all over Lina, I'd never pick her against that disgusting fuck, but she does okay against Centaur.

A bit contradictory there. I never need Bloodstone because Eul's, Arcanes, and bottle give me enough mana to not have to worry about potentially wasting 5k and an item slot if I can't snowball early on. I've enjoyed Octarine, but blink is much better for core Lina than a force staff is, especially with Eul's.
Again, I'm not a bad Lina player, I just get a bad team every match with this hero only. I don't know why it only happens with this one hero, but I can carry if my team lets me.

I looked into it and actually Mek is in the default build. It's been ages since I checked the default builds and forgot Valve improved theirs at some point, before there still was the Battlefury on Bounty Hunter, Vanguard on Razor and other silly things.
Viper is a good Mek carrier like Razor and in some cases Bristleback and Outworld.
He can farm it before the 10 minute mark and he certainly does not lack damage thanks to his passive. So he gain advantage on having tanky items, Mek more than anything as it helps your team out and let you force fights a lot earlier.
But I'm sure Shadow Blade is a lot more effective in your trench, as no one buy detection.

For my two cents, I don't particularly like Mek on either Razor or Viper. Don't get me wrong, I understand the purpose, but I don't think Razor and Viper can get as much out of a Mek as some other heroes. Neither are extremely fragile and neither can really afford the huge mana cost for Mek's active. I'd personally prefer Aquila into Drums or a Medallion. I think Mek is much more valuable on either A) Squishy cores who can get strong quickly to make up for the gold spent on Mek, like Shadow Fiend and Drow Ranger, or B) Intelligence cores who can afford the high mana cost, like Silencer, Necrophos, and OD.

He gets 4 kills total, and 2 of them were chrono killsteals, for like 7-8 deaths.
At one point he even chrono'd the enemy fountaindiving bristleback when me and another guy retreated in for health. Bristleback had just decided to back off and had his back to the fountain and we were in the aoe. Void and the fountain attacked his back for the full duration. Net result was that me and the other guy died to Bristleback, Void lost half his health but he at least got a kill, i guess.

Yeah, I watched Slacks' guide. I don't mind playing support, but that strat only works sometimes. If my carries can farm, it's worth playing ward bitch, but I can drag the match out for hours and if the four carries refuse to fight or click on a creep every so often, it's not going to change anything except make a 30-minute loss into a two-hour loss. hey guys so quick tip for anyone on sea servers like me, undying is op at 2-3k mmr. im 2.9k mmr atm and hes so effective in every game i play since everyone thinks this game is super smash bros or some shit and loves fighting early. all you have to do is start off with ring of protection, tangos and maybe gauntlets of str, courier of nobody gets it. I usually get a basi at sideshop to help me spam decay. i usually get a point in decay if nobody teamfights at runes or a point in tombstone if a fight breaks out. then i just spam decay in lane because NOBODY knows how to deal with this shit seriously. if you hit more than one guy with decay you could just go up to them and right click and do a decent amount of damage if your teammate backs you up and isnt retarded.
then i just build arc boots, mek or pipe depending on their lineup. sometimes crimson guard. aghanims is quite good too and helps him scale into lategame. you can play him as a semisupport buying wards but make sure you get some core items too. make sure you carry a tp at all times - if someone gets ganked in another lane TP THERE and countergank seriously you wont die if you just drop decay and tombstone, undying is so fuckin op early game.

When I did my MMR calibration, it was right after it first came out. I've been playing since beta, though I didn't play dota1. At the beginning of this month, I played the first match since my 10 calibration matches. I was put at 3700 MMR when I got out of calibration. Today, I am 3110 mmr. I've tried everything, nothing works. Every game is absolutely the same, and there is nothing I can do to change the result. There is no forced 50/50, there is no god, there is nothing. The pain and anguish this MMR system has made me feel has be so greater than anything I've ever experienced. Its made me feel not only unable to control the game, but unable to control the world. It has in short crushed me. At the beginning, I was optimistic, midway, I felt uncontrollable rage, but now, I just don't care anymore, at least I'm close to that, theres still anger, but thats disappearing as I continue my downward spiral into the depths of MMR hell. Is THIS enlightenment? The end to a journey? I feel like, once I hit 0 MMR, it just won't matter anymore, nothing will.
