ITT we post heroes we want to be good at but suck balls at. C'mon, I know you are all 10k mmr and everything, but everyone has That One Hero that they just cannot get. For me, it's Lanaya. I like her shield, I like Meld's unique use of invis, I like shit talking people that think they are better at Techies than I am and then Refracting the mines, and I like traps but I feed every single time I play her. Squishier than Antimage, who I also suck with, does no damage early game, psi blades make you have to be EXACTLY lined up or else they dont go off, and by the time I can farm deso or mael, I have already died a billion times. Everyone else I see goes godlike and three-shots eve the tankiest Centaurs, I dunno how to git gud.

I'll keep telling you this, Lopunny/Raichu, but as long as you don't know how to rice, you're not going to do well with hard carries like Andy Mage.

Templar is fairly situational. She does well against heroes with burst damage nukes, like Lina, Lion, Kunkka, and Zeus, but is countered by target area spells from heroes like Lina, Lion, Kunkka, and Zeus. She works well against heroes with slow attack speed (makes Phoenix a good ally) and hates heroes with damage over time spells that can break through her shield easily, like Jakiro, Dark Seer, Huskar, and Batrider.

Both timing and positioning are crucial to getting the most out of TA's abilities. Practice both of these things and maybe farm a little better and you'll see it all pay off.

I think I use Lina fairly well, but as I'm sure everyone has seen my bitching about it already, every fucking time I pick Lina, my team plays like shit. How the fuck can I win with this hero?

Lina's one of my most successful heroes, and I get at least two godlike streaks every time I play her. I was doing her core/mid before 6.84. If you want, I can play some Lina games with you and teach you how to make Undyings Snipers Storm Spirits and pretty much every other hero bar Huskar cry, if you teach me how to do other traditional carries(your anfy, ta, void etc.)

The matchup is very dependent on player skill in the early game. TA can tank the life break with a refraction and meld whenever she runs out of charges until refraction is of cd, and huskar can't really run away because of traps, but ta doesn't really have killing power on him either that early.

Not really, blink + deso will blow up a support lina in 2-3 attacks with refraction+meld, that's like twenty minutes in.
