>Low tier MMR escape heroes

I'll start with Slark

+leap serves as one of the best initiation/escape abilities in the game

+q=fuck stuns

+his passive works well at any point in the game

+shadow dance is possibly the best escape in the game, as well as being generally awesome with its health regen

+ganks are ez

+works extremely well in solo offlane because he doesn't necessarily need early farm to be effective

+leap+AA stun=dead scrub

+ult give a very personal middle finger to wards and chronosphere

-pre level 6

-worst base stat gain in the game

-fuck silencer

-fuck earth spirit

-fuck chain stuns and nukes

=I consider sange and yasha core on Slark

=blink>shadow blade, fight me

=I level e and q equally done games, it works out

=diffusal does not work as a replacement to skadi, but is a good supplementary item

=bkb isn't always necessary against scrubs

That's about all I have to say on Slark

+Pushes like a mother fucker

+What else could you possibly need?

There are two ways to play Lycan, the do-gooder carry way, or the rat doto way.

Safelane Lycan

>Get a support who can slow or who has a lot of disable. CM, Jakiro, Leshrac, Shaman, Lion, and Warlock come to mind

>Support should buy Medallion and Rod of Atos

>Buy Treads, HotD, BKB, Skadi

>Use that fucking HotD active, works great with your abilities

>Situationals are Assault Cuirass, Moon Shard, Mjollnir, Basher/Abyssal

>Kill a lot of people

>Farm and push when you're not killing a lot of people

Offlane/Jungle Lycan

>Rush Vlad's, followed by treads and Medallion

>Get an early Rosh solo once you have these items

>Push whenever possible

>Save ult for escapes

>Desolator > Necronomicon > Assault Cuirass > Manta for pushing items

>Try to get BoTs a little early (20-25 minutes)

>Win

I feel bad because I have been forgetting to play him as of late, but, I pick this guy anytime I see a PA, Omniknight, or pretty much any hero that makes me go "ugh, that's gonna be so annoying." Invis heroes and Invoker, too.

I think you could use him to climb MMR ez. Not as ez as slark, but I usually get boots+bas+midas by 10, aghs by fifteen to twenty and blink at 25. I'm sure people better at Doom could get those faster.

Why is Doom good for stompin'?

>His name is Lucifer, not fuckin Carl or Magina or some shit. That's 100% max Edgy right there and he has the flaming weapons to back it up

>Tell people you are a female, they give you wallet codes and you use that shit to mix and match stuff from his sets, and he has the best cosmetics in the game without even an immortal or arcana

>Big as fuck, come out of the jungle pre-six and people still run, look how scary and huge you are when you play him

>When you pick him there is at least one person thats gonna go "Aww shit, Doom" because nobody plays Doom, he isn't meta anymore. Then you prove them wrong and look great as you kill enemies and git money

>Make people ragequit/ragebuyback if you use your ult on them often

Alright, seriously:

Q:

Obviously does no damage directly to Heroes, but accelerates farm either in lane or in jungle. If you are using it every second it is off CD you are guaranteed to keep up, if not pass by enemies.

Passives from Jungle creeps secure solo kills or help in teamfights. Aura crits/damage, aura armor, aura regen, move/atk slows, stun, ensares, whatever you want.

It has a bit of range on it, so you can get LHs while under heavy harassment.

W:

Simple regen and movespeed steroid. Use it to escape, chase, farm, keep your hp topped off, whatever. Any kind of psuedo gap closer on a melee hero is always nice.

E:

Oh man, the damage on this thing is insane. The range on it is farther than you would think on it. If you are fighting over a kill, this is your "I win" button. If that cheeky Bloodcyka is running away, this is your "No sir" button. Maxing this after Q instead of W actually works if you go mid or solo offlane. Great nuk, even on tanky heroes.

R:

Even after the 6.84 Break and Hex change stuff, this is still IMO top 10 ults in the game. If you use it on le balanced blueberry, no chrono. If you use it on that fed Gondar, that's a ded Gondar. The way I play the hero, aghs is pretty much core on him, and that's what I'll focus on.

>use it on annoying supports that could be an issue for your team

>use it on heroes with good mobility skills(QOP,SS) and they are forced to walk

>use it on fucking anyone, in conjunction with Hill Troll snare or mud golem stun, plus your W, pretty much ensures they stay close, stay doomed and stay dying

>blink on unsuspecting people, doom. When they realize they are gonna die, you can either chase them the full way with blink or an invis item, use LVL? death for some neat voice lines, or go full "action movie hero does not look at explosion" and turn your back and walk away as they burn to death.

>You don't need to go to Secret Shop for refresher anymore so it is easier to spread the unholy pleasure of Doom to your opponents without leaving base, if you are getting sieged.

However:

>Creeps can be Doomed for some reason so you gotta be spot on with your clicking.

>If you Doom a right clicking carry, make sure he isn't able to just turn and right click you to death if he is super farmed. Make plays by blinking into the enemies, dooming the most important target(s), and then shadow blade following them for ez escape/kills.

>Only once have I had this happen to me, but you can deny your teammate if they are Doomed. LVL death helps avoid this, and following targets/keeping targets close also helps.

Assault Cuirass, Blink, an invis item, Refersher, boots, and Heart/a damage item usually works well for me, though obviously he can be built different ways. I like him, he's like the anti-carry carry. Or maybe that's Slardar. I dunno. Play Doom, though.

doom used to be my go to pick against heroes like void and PA, but now you need a scepter and I've just been avoiding him since. I should probably start playing him again.

Because, rather than picking a gimmicky hero and rushing Agh's, you can pick nearly and other hero and buy a Silver Edge.

6.84 finally made it possible to counter Faceless Void. It's beautiful.

 No.2936

He's useful, yes, and he counters literally every hero, but he's a one-trick pony. He has one of the most important ultimates in the game on a long cooldown, not to mention that scepter needs to be completed before he's a threat to carries. Unlike most jungling heroes, he lacks in teamfight presence and is usually built as an aura whore to try to make him less of a 4v4 hero. He's strong, very strong, but not in the same way as the other 109 heroes to choose from.

 No.2956

>>2932

>doesn't need darn to be effective

He has an initiation, a purge, since right click damage, and an escape coming out of solo hard lane, and easily soloes against other heroes.

>blink>shadow blade

>what is dust

It's shit for the right click power, it's shit for escape, and if you honestly think it provides a better initiation than blink, you probably need to get out of the game

>e and q equally

I don't know why I do that, it just works out.

>not providing an actual argument and just shitposting instead

My MMR is about 1.4, but I queued before 300 hours and never touched ranked again until recently. So are you willing to show yours off?

Thanks for sharing, slark can probably work solo hard lane at your mmr but at 4k you're gonna get raped, leap isn't as good of an escape tool as you make it sound and slark is squishy as all hell. Blink is decent but in pubs sb is objectively better initiation because you can actually scout out where enemies are, also your q purges dust so you escapes are not a problem with shadow blade. Without farm you are correct, he can still solo other heroes but will not do jack shit in a teamfight, that's where if you have a sny/drums/sb/bkb at a good timing you can 1v4. q is more damage and much faster farm speed than e when you level it first. there's my fucking explanation, twitch.tv/bananaslamjamma plays a great slark and if you wanna maybe smurf your way out of that shit tier mmr like i did try watching him.

Timbersaw has slowly climbed his way up to my second most played hero and he's been my all-time favorite since I've learned to use him. While carries are usually the best for climbing MMR (as long as you know what the fuck you're doing), Timbersaw can have very strong impact in matches when used properly.

+Tankiness that most nukers lack

+A high damage, low-cooldown mobility spell

+Pure damage helps him stay viable in the late game

+Can flash farm and clear creep waves quickly

+High teamfight presence

+High ganking power

+Can solo the offlane

+Escape works even when rooted

+Works great in 6.84

-Highly mana-dependent

-Useless against spell immunity

-Useless when silenced

-Requires good positioning

-Can only really fit well into the offlane

Timbersaw NEEDS to be in the offlane. Solo, preferably. The best thing about pure damage is that it can be extremely powerful when you have a level advantage over your enemies. Timber Chain is usually the best thing to level at lv. 1, because the pure damage is powerful, the mana cost is low, and the escape ability for rune ganks is priceless. My favorite starting items are a set of tangoes, a clarity, a stout shield, and a magic stick, but these can be changes to your own preference.

Always max Timber Chain by level 7, with one point in both Whirling Death and Reactive armor. From there, Whirling Death should be maxed next, unless you're somehow taking a lot of physical damage, then you can get extra levels in Reactive Armor, but only when needed.

Arcane boots should ALWAYS be your boots of choice and it's usually a good idea to complete them as soon as possible. Once your Arcanes are completed, I'd suggest buying a Soul Ring, which Timbersaw can use very well.

Ideally, you want to rush Bloodstone when possible. However, as wonderful as Bloodstone is on Timbersaw, if you or your teammates aren't doing well, do NOT buy it. This goes for all Bloodstone holders. If you're 0/18 and finish your Bloodstone at 45 minutes, you are Satan incarnate. Build a different item, but hold on to your Arcanes and Soul Ring. Comebacks are very possible with Timbersaw, as long as you don't fuck up your item build.

BKB is usually a good pickup if you're not doing well. With Timberchain, you can initiate a fight and stay in the fight. Most silences won't affect you and you don't have to worry about a stun ruining your escape.

Blademail is also a good comeback item against heroes who hit hard in the early game, like Phantom Assassin, Ursa, and Shadow Fiend. Unlike many other Blademail holders, Timber also benefits greatly from the intelligence bonus.

Eul's is a good pickup when Bloodstone isn't an option, because the mana regen it gives is highly overlooked. Timber also has the mana pool to use its active when needed and the movement speed bonus is always helpful.

Shiva's Guard is expensive, but powerful against illusions and heroes who need attack speed, like Tiny, Sniper, and Faceless Void. The 30 intelligence it gives can also be game-changing on Timbersaw, who needs every point of intelligence that he can get.

Timbersaw is also a good holder for both Pipe of Insight and Crimson Guard, when you're having problems with magical and physical damage dealers respectively.

Aghanim's Scepter and Octarine Core both work wonderfully on Timbersaw, but are luxury items. Is the enemy team too stupid or poor to pick up BKBs? Is your damage not as high as you need it to be? Consider buying Agh's. Remember that the second Chakram given from Agh's uses just as much mana as the first one, so high intelligence/mana regen is necessary before picking it up. I like to pick up Octarine AFTER Agh's, because it's one more ability to benefit from the lifesteal and cooldown reduction. PROTIP: If you buy Octarine, try to make the most out of it with items that can benefit from the cooldown reduction. Everything listed above as well as items like Boots of Travel have good synergy with Octarine.

Do NOT pick Timbersaw against these heroes:

>Silencer

>Death Prophet

>Lifestealer

>Juggernaut

>Silencer

>Night Stalker

>Skywrath Mage

>Earth Spirit

>Riki

>Pugna

Timbersaw shits on:

>Meepo

>Huskar

>Phantom Lancer

>Visage

>Anti Mage

Considering earth spirit can shit on literally every hero in existence, I think we should just exclude him from the do not pick against list.
