So what do you guys think of webcomics in general?
Good? Bad?
I'm thinking of starting my own webcomic series but I'm not sure if it would work out.
Got any tips?

Yassss. Webcomics are life.
My personal favs being Go Get a Roomie, and Ava's Demon.
The art for both is so good hnnn.

Anyway I'd count cyanide and happiness or xkcd as webcomics too. So I guess a tip would be, try to be funny. Other than that I got nothing, but I'll probably be a loyal reader.

I love webcomics, and I think there aren't enough of decent ones.

I had a webcomic of my own too, but I'm incapable of doing something specific for a long time so I quit it.

I've considered making my own in the past, but I can't take the commitment to that much work.

Do it if anything as a practice. Draw whatever and allow yourself to fail at it. Once you have done your webcomic for a while you'll be able to tell if you can keep up with a more serious effort.
