I've been leaving requests open hoping it'll lure in more drawfags. We can't have a drawfag board with just one drawfag, and I'm a part of deveral projects right now, so I simply don't have time to do all the requests myself. That being said, since a few have shown up and done requests, I'll try to work on some requests myself now, starting with the ones where my avatar is specifically mentioned in it. (Ex, draw nina doing whatver)
This IS meant to be a drawfag board, not just a place for me to draw things. I'm not trying to avoid threads on /b/, that's not what this is.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
You can also ask other drawfags questions in this thread. Make sure to say the name of who you're asking, or if they're anonymous, link to one of their drawings so they know it's directed at them.
I have high hopes for this board, and I'm grateful to all of the drawfags and requestees keeping this place alive. I know it's not the best, it's kind of empty. But again, we absolutely need more drawfags to liven it up. Obviously a young board is going to stay empty if you avoid it only because fo said emptiness.

I'm completely aware that drawfags have their own sites for CJing. The thing is, they don't get many requesters. I hope to even things out.
As for plans, I'd really like if I could establish a mutual relationship with one of the drawfag sites. They could do requests here, and I could mention them for drawfags looking for new friends. That's what I hope can happen, even if its a really distant dream right now.
I've tried advertising on /b/, but you know, trolls. They get sick of me advertising really fast.

Maybe the thing that makes this place different from scribblechan is that you don't /have/ to CJ with a drawing every time. You can treat this place more like a classic drawthread. I've personally always found that more appealing.
Plus, the only real rule is the same as the global wholechan rule. No CP, basically. Since loli isn't cp, you can draw literally anything you want.

How do you feel about a bi-weekly contest? It's something they used to do at IFX before they closed off he forums. Theirs was weekly, but I don't know how often everyone finds time to work/post.
We could have a separate thread for WiPs, with a minimum of two per submission. Name/tripfags votes get counted, since we don't have a viable login system that helps filter spammers. Whaddya think? The theme can just be an interpretation of a word or phrase, winner picks the next one.
It's just something else for us to do together, since there's only about seven of us, it'll be pretty simple to M.C.

What I don't understand is that we have moved away from this we have created a permanent Site used for requests, Circlejerking, multiple boards, and such, and the site is still building.
We already moved away from this site since it can become temporary, and even deleted.

So you know, for a tripcode you just put usename#password in the name field. Obviously fill those out however you wish to.

Circlejerk is really just off topic discussion rather than following the line of the thread.
For example, if there was a thread about drawing abstract art, then someone replying brings up that they're having car troubles lately and people talk to them about it, that's circlejerking.

Few changes. Tweaked the rules, feel free to go look at them. Made this thread not sticky because I'm not /that/ important. Removed most of the word filter. Added a thread per hour limit in the event that someone decides to spam the board. Tried to enable ID's, not sure if it works. Enabled SWF and PDF posting, which should make things easier for people who animate or want to share some good art guides I guess.
