Update, flat colors so far. I do all this at work. sometimes progress gets stunted, and too many distractions at home.

thanks, that's just photoshop but I use it mainly because I'm used to shortcuts and its handling of layer masks, will jump ship for krita soon I feel.

The facial expression is better in 2 for sure. I think the center girl's arm looks bad. Bending towards the camera like that is hard to do right… Try to find a ref, a bit of bone and muscle contour might help.
