Most of the issues are fixed, though theres still some big problem with ko starvation (as of current dev build, they dont, because i disabled it temporarily in the hopes of having child hunger match mother hunger, but that needs a bunch of code added to work. Most of the more egregious bugs and some big crashing stuff has been fixed. Yukkuri exploding from breeding or super gigantic orgies of destruction should crash alot less often (though where damage values exceed the maximum allowed, things could get a little weird still, used to just ctd. Patching up the exceptino handling can come later since it works fine now. Ditto on pinning certain hybrid types, they should no longer freeze the game until unpinned, but the sprite might be odd since theres no actual sprite available atm.) A ton of other issues are fixed too, along with some fairly major ones from awhile back that never made it into a release. Though, I don't really want to make a release until I have hunger working, since id rather not spam out a bunch of releases at once interspersed by nothingness.

OYP tried to make a modification of the last version released in English which had Paches, Cirnos, and Remilias added. Shitaraba was another version, with lots more features, and we're adding to/translating that one currently. The other OYP version is pretty much scrapped.

I'm the guy who did Chen/Pache/Myon dialogue files and I want to rewrite them, along with finishing Remilia and starting with Aya, but I don't know if there's a point in doing that right now, everyone's too busy to work on the game so the project is kind of dead right now. I'm on break for winter holidays and maybe if mister Eternity has free time too we can start it back up again for a bit…

I had the same problem but it took me a while. You have to go to Folder Options and disable "Hide extensions for known file types" and change it from a .zip to a .jar
Also make sure the Java path is correct or whatever

After finding out how breeding pools worked and that concentrated orange pools can bring back dead Yukkuri as long as they're whole, I set this fucking monstrosity up.

Basically this is a floor full of orange pools layered over a floor full of breeding pools. You place a yukkuri on, they get full and explode. If their children survive the fall, they repeat the process.

This can lead to one of two things. Lots of corpses over a period of time after every possible child dies, or having a small section of Yukkuri infinitely breeding and breaking the fucking game.

Either way, it's fun to watch.

There was an original version that was bilingual Japanese/English. Then the original version got forked by a bunch of Japanese people who just added to it in Japanese. Then the fork got double-forked by OYP that changed it to just English. Meanwhile it looks like the original author has started updating his version again.
