The few yukkuri that do recognise money, often view it as a status symbol, and not a currency. They see humans enter shops with money, and assume that they're allowed to eat the food because they own money, and not because they exchange it. Once again, this is because Yukkuri cannot comprehend the idea of a trade that does not have immediate benefits. It also does not help that coins look like gold and silver badges. Often yukkuri with money will refer to themselves as "rich" for just having a few dollars. They will demand that other, penniless yukkuris be their slave. This is because they see humans serve other humans in exchange for money. To the yukkuri, it looks like the human is serving the 'rich' human as a slave. They think that the 'rich' human is of a higher status, so the 'poor' person must be a slave.

The yukkuris confused understanding of money often leads it to some frustrating situations.

Because yukkuris have a disproportionate understanding of prices, as they cannot count, they will often act entitled to gourmet meals. The yukkuri will hop into the restaurant, and present a collection of coins and crumpled notes. They will then demand "the sweetest mister food for rich Marisa. Now is fine slave!" Restaurants that serve yukkuri based dishes will typically take these yukkuri and give them a 'private table' in the meat freezer.

Even when they bring he ight amount, the yukkuri have difficulties. Often they will enter a store and tell the staff that "Marisa is a high class yukkuri ze! Just look at her wonderful mister money! Give sweet sweets now poor humans!"
They are then shocked when the staff take the money away from then. Often the yukkuri takes this as an insult. They think that mister human took away their money because mister human thinks that they are poor scum, undeserving of the status they it gives. The yukkuri will then likely call the human a shit head, and demand that they "give high class Marisa her wonderful mister money back, mister poor person!" At this point they will be tossed out of the store, by an angry and confused shop keeper.

There are three ways for yukkuri to gain money, should they wish to do so.
They may work for it, beg for it, or try finding it on the ground.

Some Yukkuri desperately seek to become "rich" As explained before, they view it as a position of status. This view has been influenced by the media. For example, music videos of rich hip hop artists are often sexual in nature; featuring the artist surrounded by scantily clad women. Thus, some Alice types believe that through becoming 'rich' they will be able to "refwesh with weimu hose all day long"

Because of this desperation, these yukkuri are willing to work awful jobs. Since Yukkuri do not have a real understanding of money, they are willing to work for far less than minimum wage.They would make a great work force if they weren't so useless.

Often Yukkuri will show up to job hunting businesses and lie about their abilities. For example, a Marisa type might show up to a construction job and claim that "Marisha is the shtrongest worker! All the other mister humans are shiddy and weak"
Some Yukkuri try to copy human behaviour, and attempt to write 'resumays' These are typically done through scribbled together illustrations, as Yukkuri are too stupid to write. One 'resumay' showed a Marisha jumping over the moon, lifting a car, and knocking out a human. Incidentally, the company decided to give the yukkuri a chance to prove itself, by dropping a car on top of it.

Whilst most money loving yukkuris are willing to do any dirty job, there are two types that are quite picky. Reimus view themselves as idols. And as such claim to be 'too good for mister garbage jobs. Shiddy Marishas and mister humans can do those"
These Reimyus will try to get people to give them money by busking. They will stand on a street corner and sing their "cute songs"
Reimyus are completely tone deaf, and often only know one song. This song consists of them singing "I am cutely singing a song" over and over again. The noise is so awful it often drives customers away from businesses. If you see one of these 'idols' near your business, do not bribe it to stop singing. This will only reinforce it's behaviour. Instead, punish it. If you pity the yukkuri, you can let if off lightly, by slapping it repeatedly.

Patchies are the other type that is unwilling to do dirty jobs. Since they are (comparatively) intelligent, they believe that they are entitled to "entehlectual" jobs, such as being a lawyer, or a doctor. Most patchies remain unemployed. There was, however, one occasion in which a patchy applied for a job at a stockbrokers firm. It dressed in a scavenged suit and tie. When they asked for it's credentials, it claimed that it could "count all the way to 100, and make mister coffees" The CEO was smitten by this, and is now using it as a company mascot.
